I know he's playing competitive and all that, but what keeps the game fun for me is doing the most random shit. He's choosing to play it hyper optimized, because he wants to win, but why not try something stupid fun for a change? Especially when you feel like the game is lost anyways
After watching I realize that's what he did this game and tbh that Gnar/Kayne duo was awesome and he still just sits there full in his head thinking about not hitting Olaf. Kinda sad, but GIGANAR vs Yone was sick!
i'm pretty sure he just talks nonsense because he has to play this game 8h a day every day. like, i love this game but i bet i'd be saying the same stuff if i played it so much. he gambled hitting 3*olaf on 2-5 with only 6 olafs and didn't hit and then complains. the chance of hitting olaf here were about 8% according to tft rolling odds calculator. it definitely wasn't the play.

Im confused, i think he is underestimating the power of anti heal item in this meta. Like yone and riven rerolls are present in his lobby but chose guard breaker for a late game karthus or even chose to build spark rather than morello even though he has Kayle ? Ive watched a lot of high rank tft high rank players and most of them priority building anti heal item because of the melee carry meta and the harmacist Augment :/

I think boxbox should start with Escape from Tarkov and do a complete hard reset. Than he will hate tarkov in like 6 days so much that he comes back to TFT and loves it again.
the game is basically designed to be like "oh, i got items for X, I NEED to pivot into a team comp centered on that." i don't think that's an issue, that's literally skill cap. boxbox is literally complaining that everyone his elo has figured out the comps and how to do those transitions. you can't play "weaker" builds because they will lose, and that's exactly how the game should be done to begin with. every comp shouldn't be at the same power level.
Yeah but this still isn't fun. I only watch TFT and don't play it because it's much less skill than LoL. In lol it doesnt matter if your champ is weak if you play to your strengths and know how to pilot
There is no skill floor in piloting TFT comps, they play by itself, and when the game gives you what you need to play or you lose, that's boring
@@BrokDoidao i also do not play this game, i only watch boxbox play. all auto-battlers are like this. luck is a huge part of it. i remember he also bitched about how some augments literally let "bad" players win because high roll and now he's saying that the game is essentially too stale lol.
