Very nice so far Thomas. Decals give me the shakes and I almost always have trouble with them, but I guess practice makes perfect and just have to persist. I'll be building the NuNu Audi R8 LMS and Gazoo Toyota TS050 soon and they both have a lot of decaling work so need to be very careful and take my time.
Totally - I have made mistakes in the past and I am sure I will make more in the future! If the model has some large and awkward decals, it can be worth making a photocopy and then cutting out the paper versions to think about the position of the decals before placement.
Body looks great! I share the frustration that decals sometimes cause. Found myself wanting to reach into the video and help you grab the one troublesome decal. Nice work, Thomas.
Looking good Thomas. How did you rectify the Nigel Harris decal? I might have to shorten them to N.Harris and M.Wilson as a compromise. I'm going to try Tamiya LP-6 blue as it looks pretty close and these spray nicely. It's a lovely kit with very good detail. I'm tempted to get another one with the Ken Wood Golden Wonder livery.
Many thanks - I got this kit in February of this year and they had updated the decals. However, I did plan to print my own name decals but didn't need to in the end. I've seen some great builds of that Golden wonder one.
Good job on that Mobil decal up front! Looking very nice.
Thanks a lot, Robert. Those were by far the hardest decals on the kit. They might end up being covered by night stage lights anyway!
Great work on the body and decals! Decals are the devil's work, that's why I build most rally cars more street/track 🤣
😅 I know what you mean ... I finish a road car far quicker than a race car. I do like doing the decals though - some are stressful as hell though!
Looking great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers Tim.
Your progress is looking Good!!! Nicely Done!!!
Cheers Mike! I'm enjoying it.
Thomas I'm loving it and you make me want to build mine, but I have so many projects I got to do now!
Cheers Shawn - I know the feeling! I have a few that I'd really like to make next too!
Thomas great job bro looks awsome, 👍Keith,, ur flying threw ur builds brother, 👍
Thanks! I'm enjoying it!
@@BOABModels yeah looks great thomas build on bro, 👍Keith
Cheers! You too!
Looking really good, after building the decaling is my favourite part, brings the model to 'life'
I totally agree. These decals went down really nicely too.
Looking great
Thanks a lot!

@@BOABModels Great hint Thomas, thank you
You're welcome.

Cheers Richard. Haha - yeah, I have no idea how that happened! I'm glad I chose to leave that bit in! 😅
Really enjoying this build. Looks great!
Thanks a lot, Simon. 👍
The decals sem to be a handfull, but in the end the body looks very decent.
Thanks, Gustavo. Most aren't too bad but some are very small and thin.

@@BOABModels I'll email Belkits but not confident of getting a reply.
Good luck! I know they do respond to stuff on their Facebook page too so might be worth trying there too
Looks good Thomas. I have one on order. It was hard to decide between this version or the Rothmans version.
Thanks Joe - yeah, I found that too. I think I chose this one because it's the version I've seen in real life. Which did you choose?
@@BOABModels I went with the Computervision version, because I am going to do the Williams FW16, which has Rothmans livery.
Oh yeah! I made the Rothmans FW19 last year myself.
@@BOABModels Did you make a video on your Fw19 build?
No, it was a few months before I started the channel I'm afraid. There are some pictures on my Instagram though I think.
So many decals. Hahaha. This is the reason I don't do a lot of race cars. I am terrible at decals.
Haha - I'm sure you're not as bad as you think you are. I like doing them now but it took a lot of practice!
You speak way to low bro.. other then that good content 👌
Thanks and yeah, it's sometimes difficult to get my voice level right because I film and record on my phone. The subtitles are pretty good though.
