This series of online tutorials, brought to you by Sight and Sound Technology is aimed at parents/guardians, students, teachers, Visiting Teachers, QTVIs and Special Needs Assistants, to help every student get the most from their BrailleSense 6 device.
We have picked what we think are the essential features for school, but, if something isn’t covered, we’ll have plenty of time in each session for your questions as well.
Session 4: Accessing books
This final session explores how to access reading material on your BrailleSense 6. We’ll look at how you can access the popular Bookshare Ireland service, using the device’s built-in application, and we’ll explore accessing textbooks provided by ChildVision’s Reading Services.
