Montale Aoud Leather smelling really close to Tuscan Leather too.
I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of leather, but I remember liking Tuscan Leather when I tried it. Now, Ombré Leather and Ombré Leather Parfum I love.
L'artisan Parfeumer's Cuir Grenat is a much smoother and better version of Tuscan leather.
Cuir Grenat by L' Artisan Parfumeur is also a good alternative.
My personal favourite dna in perfumery is the sweetened leather. Have amny of these but the best one is London by Widian, it has that smoothness and the blend of the composition is superior to all the others mentioned. Also Clive Christian C Woody Leather With Oudh Intense is another that is amazing
Love Ombré Leather but also have Acqua Di Parma, Leather. It’s a stunner imo.
Love Goldfield & Banks Purple Suede. It overtook Desert Rosewood as my favorite from the house. I recently got my nose on Cuir Nilam and it's wonderful as well, though I feel as though it's pretty close to the G&B fragrance and owning two heavy leather fragrances would be redundant in my collection. I enjoy Ombre Leather and Goldolphin as well.
Zara LTH/01 STILL L.E.A.T.H.E.R. was launched in 2023. Top note is Raspberry; middle note is Saffron; base notes are Woody Notes and Leather.
Three more options:
1. Oud saphire "atelier Cologne"
2. Colonia leather "Acqua de Parma"
3. Cuir grenat "L'artisan parfumeur"
admittedly, leather scares me. the furthest I have gone into leather territory is Dior Homme Parfum which is just beautiful. I’m going to sample Tuscan Leather - hope I like it. thanks for the suggestions!
Did you ever get to sample it? TL is favourite fragrance but it definitely has gotten thinner since it’s release
Tuscan Leather Intense is way better than all the other TF Leathers mentioned.
I L❤VE Purple Suede! Something about the lavender really does it for me in this fragrance. Normally I’m not crazy about that note.

I just ordered who is Elijah - Wall Street. An Australian perfumer. A few reviewers have described it as Tuscan Leather with a touch of oud and smoke.
THE FIRST IMPRESSION rose, raspberry, egyptian geranium
THE HEART oud wood, incense, saffron
THE SILLAGE amberwood, benzoin, leather
Great video! I have been obsessed with finding a perfect leather and I stumbled upon an elegant black leather- Indompté de Givenchy (their niche line). It starts with a little bit of citrus and then transitions to an almost slight tar note towards the end. It is one of the most elegant perfumes in my collection right now and highly recommend it if you are looking for a stand out leather scent but with a little something extra.

My husband loves it and has never found an alternative he prefers. It’s one of his favorites of all time. It smells really great on him.
Bacio Immortale from Argos is another almost perfect dupe. A bit pricey but the presentation is outstanding. Amazing atomizer. Bottle could kill your enemy.
Clive Christian C as well. Great fragrance.

The only one I can think of similar to Tuscan leather, a bit more leaning towards Godolphin is YTSMA, the dry fruits are amazing, one of my favorites from Royal Crown. Good to learn about all the options, I really like Tuscan leather it's one of my favorite fragrances of all time. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!

Ombré Leather Parfum was my signature scent up until just a few months ago. After wearing it time after time, I started to get sick of it. Also, my last large bottle from Saks must have been from a bad batch because it smelled like pure rubbing alcohol. I’ve owned Tuscan Leather in the past, but returned it. After spraying myself multiple times, sadly, the fragrance disappeared within minutes. The Tom Ford Private Blend Collection has really gone downhill over the years! Those fragrances used to be the most long-lasting, powerful and noticeable creations. Now, they are severely watered down, disappear almost immediately and leave nothing behind. Ever since Estée Lauder bought his beauty brand, the quality has never been the same. IMO, the entire Private Blend Collection needs a complete overhaul. My biggest complaint is that for the prices, those should ALL be parfum concentrations.

The best and only Tuscan Leather alternative is rasasi la yuqawam pour homme... stuff is NUCLEAR and beast mode performance, and smells way more rounded and blended. For $60 bucks it's worth it

I find Dolce and Gabbana Velvet Desert Oud (a total misnomer as I do not perceive any oud and while raspberries are not listed as a note, they're quite noticeable) is similar to TL but fruitier and more feminine leaning.

Great leather video Sebastian, one of my favorite fragrances, I have TF TL & TLI as well as Ombre my favorite leather , just bought Cuir Nilam and it's very nice I just wish the $$ was a little cheaper. Goldolphin is good too just wish it had a little more longevity. Purple Suede is very underrated and people really need to get their nose on it!! For some reason I can't handle Leatherize by DS & Durga. ANGEL SCHLESSER DEEP LEATHER was a vey nice inexpensive surprise. Cheers Brutha 😎

Every time I go to Neiman Marcus which is not very often I only get there about once or twice a year I always go to Tuscan leather at the Tom Ford counter. I would like to own it but it’s so expensive. Thanks for sharing these alternatives. Maybe one day I’ll buy the original!!

Personally, I can't stand yet another Tuscan Leather smell alike, and they are all over the place. But, if I have to choose one, it has to be Les Eaux Primordiales's Ensens Superfluide, which has an added smokey/incense note that I liked.
Sebastian, there's one by Atelier Cologne that smells very close to it too. Its called Oud Saphir!
But I thought the brand was completely pulled out of North America so we don’t have access to their Fragrances anymore. 🥲
Agree. And Oud Saphir is more potent, to me anyway. Worth seeking for fans of this dna.

TUSCAN LEATHER SMELLS A BIT GIRLY FOR ME (AND TOO MUCH LIKE A DESIGNER SCENT, AND I HAVE SMELLED IT EVERYWHERE, ON MEN AND I THINK ON SOME WOMEN)! TOO SWEET, I THINK ITS BECAUSE THE LEATHER ISNT A HARSH SMELLING LEATHER TO BEGIN WITH! ITS A SWEET LEATHER NOTE THEN THEY PUT A SWEET RASPBERRY NOTE ON TOP OF THAT, WHICH MADE IT TOO SWEET FOR ME! I THINK IF THEY MADE THE LEATHER NOTE A BIT ROUGHER, THEN PUT THE RASPBERRY ON TOP, IT WOULD HAVE MADE A BETTER BALANCE, IT WOULDNT HAVE BEEN TWICE AS SWEET WITH THE TWO SWEET NOTES! I DO LIKE OMBRE LEATHER MORE, THOUGH, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO BUY IT.

Tuscan Leather smells like cocaine. 100% I own Ombré Leather and it actually smells like a dark sweeter leather jacket. I wore purple suede today, it’s gorgeous. Love the lavender note
