Eurowings Discover Business Class Frankfurt - Mombasa. CHEAPEST BUSINESS CLASS redemption EVER!

I flew with Eurowings in business class and it was the cheapest redemption with Miles & More that I've ever had. Only 18K miles and 450 Euros! This business class flight is one of the only ones from europe to mombasa and with the link below you can apply for a credit card that will give you more miles than that! The flight was smooth and comfortable but not quite up to Qatar or ANA standards but still great! I also visited the new Marhaba lounge in Zürich and the Lufthansa business lounge in Frankfurt. business klasse nach kenia mit eurowings! sehr bequem.
Overall, it was an unforgettable trip and I'm so glad that I was able to fly with Eurowings in business class. It made the whole experience that much more enjoyable.

I must agree with you. It's a bit like being on an operating table😂 BUT it was the cheapest way to Mombasa in biz class using points! Usually i take the ethiopian airlines biz with an almost 4 hour layover as the taxes are around 180usd only. And thank you for your comment!

Why did you show the starter from the flight to mombasa and presented it as it was from zürich to frankfurt

Im not sure what you mean but I flew from Zürich to Frankfurt first then Frankfurt to Mombasa (the actual eurowings biz) and back the same route. If tou ahve any questions about it I'm happy to answer them😊

18K is definitely not the usual price for a regular "Meilenschnäppchen". The discounted fare to Mombasa is usually 40K miles round trip. And if you book Eurowings Discover Meilenschnäppchen you won't get positioning flights to Frankfurt included.
I know there have been a few heavily discounted offers in the past when EW Discover was still new, but not in the recent month and probably not to be seen again soon, if ever.
So I'm actually curious on how and when you booked this and if the flight from Zurich to Frankfurt was included in your calculation since you show it together.

Hi! You are absolutely right! These ultra cheap Meilenschnäppchen were a flash sale so only 25% of the usual miles were needed. Impossible not to take advantage of as i grew up in Mombasa. I booked them in 2021 for end 2021 and due to a cancellation was able to change them to end of 2022 free of charge. As zurich is less than 500 miles from Frankfurt they said they would add my positioning flights for free! This turned out to cause a huge drama when i was not able to check in online 24hrs before my flight and when i called, they told me the positioning flights had not been ticketed and actually tried to brush me off saying i could no longer fly and would have to pay cash. Luckily i knew my rights and after 3 hours of arguing they had to rebook me but told me they would only rebook the FRA - MBA return flights in biz 2 days later as they could not issue the positioning tickets because the agent who said it was possible made a mistake and should habe never addws rhe positioning flights on a Meilenschnäppchen . Why i was responsible for their mistake was beyond me but i was forced to book the positioning flights at my own cost. I was grumpy until i found out they had had to book me on flex biz fare so after i readded my MM number to my bookings i ended up esrning 16k MM back AND I got so many status miles that i got frequent flyer! In total i lost 3 days of my hols but gained FF and 88% of my MM back a win for me i think! And i booked my flights to and from frankfurt using partnerplus benefit points at a very decent rate as cash rates were beyond ridiculous so close to the date of departure. I hope that helps, I should have been more accurate in my description!
