Somebody commented about this being clean TV. It certainly was. No profanity, or nudity, Just clean wholesome shows for the whole family. Now responsible parents have to screen what comes on before their kids can watch it.
TV as it used to be. Great acting. No CGI effects. Great score. And NO reality shows in sight!

I was shocked to find out that The Bionic Woman only lasted for 2 seasons.

Lindsay Wagner really made this show. Not just because she was a beauty but also because her character was unique for a superhero on TV. Jaime was intellectual and principled and something of an introvert. She didn’t really relish being a superhero. She was willing to do it occasionally but she also wanted a private life. Lindsay had the acting chops to pull off this type of character.
Her acting is spit on soit in oeriod
Other than Lindsay Wagner, other beautiful women of 70s TV shows to me are Jacklyn Smith (Charlie's Angels) and Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman). They're still beautiful till now and living legends!
This show was before it's time and Lindsay Wagner's acting ability is amazing.
Lindsey eventually won an emmy a year later for best lead actress in a drama series.
And she was very pretty..
now its more of a campy comedy.

Knight Rider does the same - but in "Super Pursuit-Mode", they accelerate the video.
Good clean old fashioned Super human TV shows from the 70's and as Jamie Sommers, Lindsay Wagner did a great job with a lot of versatility. It was great then to watch as a kid and still is even now. ❤
either Netflix or Prime should stream this and the Six Million Dollar Man.

@@arricammarques1955 but so much incredible stunt/wire work in both shows - like real people jumping out of real actual helicopters (probably on a crane but still) and especially the leapfrog jumps *over* people like often it looks like Lee Majors or Lindsey themselves actually doing the leap over someone incredible

This was from the first episode. The Villain is Dennis Patrick, He also played a Scoundrel on the Daytime Supernatural Themed Soap Opera-Dark Shadows. He also had a role in the Movie-The Time Travelers.

My absolute favorite show growing up! I had both Bionic Woman and Six Million Dollar Man dolls. They fought imaginary bad guys and kissed afterward. 😆 Like crime fighters do.

Lindsay... Wow had 3 years with this role. When they remade this in 2007, they did 8 episodes and then the show got cancelled.
The villain should have called her “Miss Summers,” not “Jaime.” Just because he’s the bad guy is no reason for him to be rude. They are not friends.

I loved both Six Million Dollar MAn and Bionic Woman, but in many ways, I preferred Jaime to Steve.
Lindsey Wagner aka the bionic woman made this show not just because she was an actress but I didn't realize that this the show was incredible and very successful - she has super strength and inability the only thing is the character of Jaime Somers play by Lindsey Wagner

Bionic Woman deserves a Netflix adaptation.
95% of what was good in that show was Lindsay Wagner. They would need to choose the actress very carefull, and I doubt they will hit the target.
They did a reboot on NBC. Apparently the "new" Jaime Sommers was a real bruiser. They focused on violent fighting scenes. We love the Lindsay Wagner Bionic Woman because she was kind and hopeful, and dare we say, feminine.
And Bionic Woman will be played by a black actress, just like how they race-swapped Albert Wesker.

O so loved these shows as a kid, but it always cracked me up that they would tear and bend steel with their Bionic arms, and brace the wall with their left arms that are not bionic, let alone their legs and arm were not in anyway braced internally.
So when they would run 60 miles an hour or jump 45 to 50 feet the shock would have damaged parts of their body that were not Bionic.
