Man, you're right about the comparison with Erba Pura. I've got a bottle of Al Harmain's Amber Oud Gold (EP clone), and to me, God of Fire smells like a slightly more sour/tart version of that.
When I think back to the hyped fragrances we've had over the years (Musc Ravageur, Jubilation XXV, Aventus, Hacivat)... each one lived up to the hype.
When I received my sample of GOF, I was severely let down. This stuff is overhyped IMO. Good scent, amazing performance, really cool packaging and name... but... the juice is SEVERELY overhyped.
So if you have Al Haramain then it is redundant?
@@junboo8730 It depends. To me, I am more than thrilled with Amber Oud Gold... and like the smell more than God of Fire. And the price to value / quality ratio is insane. Imo, God of Fire is not different enough to warrant a purchase. But that's just my opinion.

If it smells like Erba Pura, why would anyone buy this at equal prices for half the ml's. That was also my idea behind why Nishane's Zenne is an awful value proposition. Musk Therapy from Initio at least tries to be at the same price point.

God of Fire is just Instant Crush with a top note of mango. Nothing new or groundbreaking here. Its a nice bottle, but not much else going on.
Who does not love the smell of fruits, especially when accompanied by a breeze of musk ?
I am such a shameless frag-snob that just knowing that a lot of people are wearing it, immediately turns me off and keeps me from buying it. I have no shame. 😈

A pleasant but largely redundant woody amber with none of the signature touches of this perfumer and a striking similarity to another very popular niche scent that shall not be named. The scent opens with fruity notes and moves to a sweet tonka bean heart accentuated with slight jasmine.
The scent settles on a powdery ambroxan base with cypriol, synthetic musk and woody notes. The unisex scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. Very generic and most importantly does not really seem to be created by SHL especially if you compare to compositions like O’Hira or Black Gemstone that oozed with originality. Do not believe the CZcams hype, put your nose to it and decipher the sleight here.
The fragrance is okay, nothing special. It's been done before...not a very masculine leaning scent. However, to say it's the "hottest fragrance on the planet" is clearly subjective and CLICK BAIT (some would say CAP)! The HYPE is not real...again, it's subjective when it comes to fragrances. (to each is own); I've been collecting and selling fragrances for over 30 years and it's rare to find a fragrance that is a "standalone" fragrance! This is a great fragrance house...I own a few of their fragrances (e.g., Black Gemstone, Sand Dance, etc.)...most of this brand's fragrances are a bit cliched to say the least...again, to each is own.
One thing I would like fragrance reviewers to do is be honest and have some integrity when it comes to marketing other brand's fragrances...it seems like the norm for fragrance reviewers to "CAP" about fragrances in order to receive kickbacks/subscribers/views; being honest with the viewers goes a long way and will definitely get you more subscribers. Again, the acquisition of fragrances does require some market research and in some cases "cost analysis" depending on the cost! Most buyers pay for the packaging as oppose to the "juice"...and most buyers don't understand how production cost are bundled into the overall price of the fragrance! For example, the pretty bottle you are showing...most of the cost is for the bottle/packaging as oppose to the actual fragrance; the actual fragrance if I were to do a cost estimate is about one third of the estimated cost...so, the buyer is really paying for the bottle/packaging and getting a juice that's been done before (e.g., Mango Skin, Kalan, etc.). Always get a sample before committing to a full bottle team! Last, great video...thanks for sharing!
