I was born and raised in Virginia nearly my whole life. My family and I used to take vacations at Virginia Beach on June every year. I went there for the last time in 2021 before moving to a new state a few months later. I still have plenty of memories and souvenirs of Virginia Beach.
I miss that place.

Was just there this past Sunday - Thursday. That's my go to spot. Has been always peaceful and relaxing when I've vacationed there..
I love Virginia Beach. It's much cleaner than Myrtle Beach and a lot less people. People are also much nicer at Virginia Beach.
Myrtle Beach is nicer and the people are nicer. Virginia Beach people are stuck on themselves. The natives hate the tourists and natives use to say go home we don't want you here. By the way the really natives don't like the military ,they act like the military but don't. I live there in 1986 , my husband was in his military uniform on oceanfront in RESTAURANT and asked us to leave. Never going back to Virginia Beach. Very NASTY people. That's what I think. Thx for filming this, I also live in Virginia and went to this beach maybe three years ago before the pandemic started and I miss it every since. Hope you film it on 4 July fireworks 🧨.

Well I think that is the beauty of it, all you really have to look at is the beach itself.
Listening to the music and street performers is my favorite, it’s best to go at night and walk though.
@@RoboCat514 trouble is total lack of services, entertainment, cycling facilities, restaurants on the main drag and surrounding area.

Excellent loking i boen here in the year of our lord 1968 and i hate it here never go to te ocean frntblikei use t do o, But for some-ne never been i wood recommend ir aong with orher great attractions like the marine aquarium

We haven't spent much time in Virginia Beach but if being close to the water is a priority then consider VA Beach first. Richmond is a 90 minute to two hour drive to the ocean, but has soo much history, culture, and great food!
Save your money and dignity and think twice about moving to Virginia Beach. I've been here since 1987 and nothing changes. Yah sure the beach is nice but drive elsewhere in the city and its not so beautiful. The city is a mundane and dull.

September is a great time to go, hotel rates are much lower, kids are back in school. My favorite month to go ☀️🏖🍺.
Virginia Beach is where I grew up some times I miss it there but after black life’s matter the violence has gone up and Virginia Beach is really a tourist spot and a ghost town in wintertime
