Quick and cool coloring effects with Neocolor II & colored pencils

A demonstration of how you can create cool coloring effects like marbling background, watercolor effects, bokeh (those blurry out of focus circles in backgrounds) with the help of Caran D'Ache Neocolor II as a base for colored pencils (I used Prisma Premier colored pencils in this demo). These effects will take way longer to do if using colored pencils alone.
The Owl page is from Daydreams by Hanna Karlzon. In order to make the demo more condensed, I drew a simplified version of the page just to show you the techniques I used to color the actual page.
