      Eduard Todor As Michael beautifully stated, it's also about leaving the craft of magic better than you found it. Perhaps go back to old tricks you have showed us (which I've thoroughly* enjoyed) and evolving it, leaving it better than it once was. :) Keep up your videos and incredible intros Eduard! A true inspiration for not just magic but for pursuing your dream.

    what gets me about this is that according to Micheal there was no deck switch, so he did in fact fool them with pure technique. He just didn't want to argue with them or something in the moment.

    This was one of those illusions where I had no doubt that Penn & Teller knew exactly what was going on. But it was an absolutely amazing performance. This was one of those performances that people who see it could talk about to their grandkids. As Penn & Teller said *and Michael Vincent agreed), this is DECADES of practice.

    MIKE VINCENT, did NOT ring in the cooler. His sleights are so beyond regular tricks that he just allowed Penn and Teller to believe that’s what he did. Hey, great reaction!
    I actually remember watching one of Michael Vincent's lecture videos (here on CZcams) saying that Penn and Teller didn't actually get the right answer. I remember (though not accurately) him saying that "ringing in the cooler" was actually far from what he did. But he was just being nice and didn't bother to tell them that it wasn't actually the right answer. Penn and Teller were implying that there was a deck switch, however, I've read somewhere (although I still don't know the method he used) that according to Michael himself, it was the original deck that he used at the start of his routine and those weren't actually false shuffles, rather a system of shuffles that would end up with the deck in such order. Michael Vincent is definitely a great magician!

    • @EduardTodor
      @EduardTodor  Před 6 lety +14

    • @RodZilla11
      @RodZilla11 Před 6 lety +4

      He definitely didn't "ring in the cooler". LOLOLOLOLOL His humility wouldn't allow him to fight the argument and that's another reason why MICHAEL VINCENT is one of the greatest magicians alive.

      @misharialfaridi3978 Před 6 lety +4

    • @Wreneagle
      @Wreneagle Před 2 lety +1

    Thanks for this video bro! Michael Vincent gives card magicians something to strive for. To see if we can practice and get that damn good someday. He's very entertaining for any spectator to watch but, if you know where his magic comes from and how much work it took to do his routine , it's all that much more amazing! Like you said, it's classic Erdnase and Vernon. Which if you study either you're gonna be putting a lot of work, for pretty much the rest of your life. Besides all that, can you imagine having to cover those angles with Penn & Teller sitting on either side of you and three cameras watching your every move? I think back when this first aired Michael could still hear a little. He's completely deaf now. Which i guess would make it harder for him to really engage his audience. He reads lips and does it very well but, it would still be hard. Thanks again for the video! It was a great reaction!

    i felt like you watching this ... i sometimes think the more you know the harder it becomes to get back that feeling you had as a child when someone showed you something you cant belive is just happening something that feels like real magic and as it becomes harder over time especialy if you know how its done. of course there are some who come up with new tricks you dont know yet and there it is the feeling again and thats nice but this what he does ... when you watch it and while you watch it you know exactly whats going on it is the skill level you cant belive how clean and smooth it can be performed its like seeing someone jumping out of a 20 meter house and hees just fine because he is trained to do that. and there it is again that feeling and it makes you smile and happy because you for a moment you belive again that the impossible can be done

    Michael is my hero in magic. I still take inspiration from him. He has created a benchmark for card mastery. But when I saw him perform on Fool Us, I was a bit disappointed. Because I myself knew what was happening, although I don’t do all of what he did. This show is about fooling Penn and Teller. I felt Michael could have chosen something more challenging for the duo. Something rare or totally new. Wanna see his comeback on Fool Us. 😊

    He didn't "ring in a cooler" either as Penn suggested. He was working with only one pack of cards. His style is very British and he was just too polite to disagree wth Penn. In retrospect, it he could be seen as a very clever response, because if he had told them he fooled them he wouldn't have come back on another show in the next series and we wouldn't have the great content on video of him doing another amazing routine, still watched today. czcams.com/video/uT7E2wp-bM8/video.html. Sometimes it's the bigger picture stuff that counts! :) Enjoy!

    Also if you watch closely you can see Penn signal Vincent at the 9:18 mark by touching his glasses that they caught him.

      the joke about the audience being in the middle was also an inside joke, hinting that while the left and the right hand cover each other's actions, the public is always there to take it. magic can be used both to educate and amaze, but also to be a charlatan about it, to cheat people and rob them of their belongings

    In one of his videos he actually explains that Penn and Teller did not fool him but he didn't want to say it on the show.

    Dude, it’s simply ugly how terribly beautiful his presentation is. With card magic, I’d imagine a lot of magicians can clock the moves, but isn’t it still so joyous and ticklish when it’s performed so elegantly?
