When Garth started his career doing state fairs my uncle was a policeman that took me backstage after the concert I went to so I could meet Garth he was so very kind before I could utter the words I loved the show he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and then let me go and check out the inside of his tour bus I will forever remember his kindness.
I just saw a video in the last couple weeks of him in Des Moines,IA and she was there holding another sign that said "kicked cancers ass"

Garth is the greatest. This touches my heart every time I see this video. I lost my dad to cancer in 2016.
I had the same thing happen at his show in Indianapolis that I went to. He spotted a women earlier in the show. He went over to the woman three times during the show, once with Trisha. Garth is my favorite all time and this is one of the many, many reasons.
I love "In Lonesome Dove". Off his second album track 9 just before "The River". In that vein "Cowboy Bill" off his first album is also a great song.

Love Garth. He's my favorite and yes, the GOAT. Love this song, too. To me, it has more meaning than looking back on a failed relationship. My seven-year-old nephew has taken to telling me he's sorry about my legs. (I have lymphedema in both legs and it's been getting worse. Spent a few days in the hospital with a raging infection this year because of it.) He asked me if I could go back and get a different surgeon than the one who botched the knee surgery and gave me the lymphedema if I would. The answer was no. Because the lymphedema gave me him. If I didn't have a chronic illness that keeps me at home, I wouldn't have been available to take care of him and his sisters. If I never got the disease, I would not have the relationship I do with my nieces and nephew. I've taken care of them since they were newborns. No daycare for them. I hate my disease. It's an enemy that I'm at constant war with. But I'm grateful for it because of my kids.
I don't care how many times I have seen this I cry like a baby every time!!
I am praying for all of you kickng cancers butt right now! I have family who have passed from the effects of cancer. I also have family members who have kicked cancers butt and won!! It's rough! Much love to you all....seriously, I love you and am praying for you all.

Garth is one of the greatest singers ever. This song gets me every time. Even more now this video especially because of losing my best friend in September to cancer. My best friend was one of the kindest people ever met. I miss him a lot

Lonesome dove is my favorite Garth song as well. When the Dance comes on I still stop what ever I'm doing and just listen. I think we can all relate to this song.
Well, I haven’t been able to get through this song without sobbing since ‘05 when a close friend was killed in a car crash but, every time I watch this video, i just cry harder. Garth is such a genuine human being that I would love to meet some day. Merry Christmas, my friend. Love you Birdman, Matt Brady, Phoebe and Shelby. Still praying for all of you. R.I.H miss Lora.
I absolutely love me some Garth Brooks. I remember the first time I saw this. I cried like a baby. My mama has battled breast cancer twice and liver cancer once. She is a tough 4’7” little lady.
Garth is an amazing man. I live in Minnesota and I was lucky enough to attend two of the concerts that he put on that week. (unfortunately not this one), but all his concerts are amazing. He is what everyone should strive to be. How people can't love and believe in the message of his music is beyond me. Such a great message.

Garth had an interview on entertainment tonight not long after this. They surprised him and flew Theresa out to see him. It was really sweet, the videos up on here you should check it out. He said that sign traveled the world with him for that tour.
A great moment that Garth brooks gave to this lady at the concert to give her Energy needed to go kick cancers ass and such a great moment of Garth that the times that God still shows the sign that he still exist and impacts all of our lives as well I think Birdman the reason why a lot of us that connect to your CZcams reactions is we can see in here and also feel the honesty and sincerity in your reactions no matter what type of feeling it might be it is never sugarcoat at all of course RIP to Miss Laura will always be missed in the Birdman family and Rest of the Birdman family members are dealing and find cancer right now thinking of you guys and hoping for the best as well hopefully someday will find a cure to this awful disease known as cancer and finally kick is ask for good one of Garth Brooks iconic songs
I had heard the story, so when I saw the video, I had to watch it. It's one of the few times I have listened to him sing it since 1997...when it was played at the funeral for my first grandson.

that's awesome. Love it. I love Cal. Great guy. Got the jersey because he was The Iron Horse and broke Lou Gehrig's record. My Dad passed of Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) and I've always connected myself to Cal through that.

I wish I had gotten to know her like every one else did. But I am.happy I got to talk to her I want to say a couple of months before she passed away..She was telling me how she missed her brother. And I don't remember what I said but I remember her saying Don't be sad Ill be with him.soon.

He never would. He IS known as a "crier" and too genuine for his own good------All of a sudden he'd be deceptive like that? I highly doubt it, so know that Garths heart is with all suffering cancer; even after a win, Garths always in your corner. 😊 Have a great new year!
