An interesting culture while kings were ruling in Nepal they have never shaken hands with Nepalese people except foreigner ?? We can see same thing in this Video. My personal experience, I was so proud of Nepalese football team gaining momentum in Dasarth stadium during saarc game, then crow prince Dipendra was also present at the stadium to cheer up! When it came to the end of the game he shook hand with opponents all Indian players but not his own country men who just fought a bloodless battle for their country. Some theories says Dinosaurs were not able to change to adopt world new environment so they end of extinction. As Nepal is in earthquake prone zone like wise it’s in the geopolitical prone zone too . This visit has crucial role in 1990 political change. Indians were not happy that Nepalese imported arm and a munitions from China.

because shaking hands is foreign culture and namaste is Nepali culture. he can't do namaste to foreigner and hand shake with Nepali .
