This song always hits me hard, when my Great Grandma died my brother played this at her funeral when I was in High School. My Grandma passed away this last August, and now my Aunt from cancer this morning. I pray that I can touch as many people as they did, because I certainly know they touched my heart while they were here.

When the hospital, in 2020, told me that my mother was going to die , I wanted her to listen to that song (sung by Pavarotti).
I remembered listening to my dad quietly singing and humming as he worked, towards end of WWII when we were safely living deep in a tropical jungle. Had always loved it since then. It had soothed us youngsters after the bombers passed overhead.
Schubert's Ave Maria is quite possibly the most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard in my life.
