  • What a beautiful sunny day!! Wow, there wasn't a lot of shells to find in the rock pools, but the few that I found were fantastic!! I can't believe that I was able to get the crab out of the lovely Military Turban shell, it's stunning. My favourites are definitely the nearly black Limacina, as well as the shiny Grape Cowrie with amazing stippling!! Thanks for watching!
Let me know which ones were your favourites ;D and if you enjoyed this and want to see more shell finding videos, I'd appreciate a like or a comment. I read all of them and try to reply when I can. You have no idea how much of a smile you guys put on my face. Thanks everyone!

G'day everyone! Wow, you're actually reading the description? Um, thank you! You will be rewarded with extra content... my Facebook page (link above) is loaded with out-takes and deleted scenes that don't make it into the CZcams videos. Check out the extra funsies over there if you're desperate for more shelling content ;D

I didn't even realise that Point Cartwright and the surrounding beaches had such lovely seashells until I saw "Shellcade Shelling Down Under" - I admired him a lot, and you can check out his videos here:

Wow! That crab transfer was cool! 🦀🦀🦀 You know I loved the operculum and finding that military turban, and managing a swap was awesome. I have two favorites today. ❤❤❤ The biconic rock whelk and of course the gyre triton! ⭐️ Beautiful cowries today! Thank you Maddie for the wonderful adventure! 🥰🥰🥰

G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 The hermit crab transfer was incredibly fun to watch, and it was actually a quick one too; less than 10 minutes for it to make the move! He he hee, I knew you'd like the Operculum, but I'm really happy that I could finally show you the shell species that it comes from! The other shells stood out on their own too; that Biconic Rock Whelk is a really nice rare-ish one, and the Gyre Triton was a lovely large specimen! I personally ended up liking the cowries the most though 🤣 As always, thank you so much for watching 🥰

Hi Maddie, I love the biconicrock whelk the best. People might not know crabbie has a solid white body. I loved seeing our pet crabs change shells. Lots of fun. They lived a long time. Take care and bring on the videos. Thank you. XXOO. TRUDY

    • @SandCoffeeRocks

G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 The Biconic Rock Whelk is a really interesting and beautiful shell 🐚 the purple inside is really pretty, and the robust textures on the outside are so cool 😎 I wish I found more of them! The crab change was really awesome too; but this crab was actually a drag green colour, it's not a whole one 😲 a lot of the hermit crabs here are either black, dark green, and only occasionally dark red, or rarely a grey/white colour. They're probably all different species 🤔 but I'm not a crab scientist 😂🦀 I love watching them change though! Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Helloooo Maddie 👋🏼 Never saw a Biconic Rock Shell before, wow 🤩 It’s definitely a favorite! The bumps are so cool 😎 That Grape 🍇 is PERFECT!! Holy Crapola 😮 There really were some great finds. You have a great eye spotting them! The Limocena was really nice! The Military Turban was rare! Nice! Thank you for the wonderful beach hunt! Mother Nature gives us the most beautiful treasures 😍 Thank you for your kind words also, I’m so glad I found your Channel! Take Care! TTFN 👋🏼 ❤

G'day Mimi 👋🏻💖 Oh wow, so you liked that Biconic Rock Whelk as well 😲 it's a great shell, and quite a rarity here! I have found one or two before, but I never remembered their name, plus the condition wasn't as clearly coloured and textures as this one! That grape too is absolutely perfect; I don't often come across a cowrie in such excellent condition! I don't know about having a good eye for spotting them, but I think I'm persistent enough to sometimes have some good luck 😂 I felt pretty lucky to find that black Limacina too! My favourite part of the day was having the perfect shell for that hermit crab to swap out for; those crabs are so picky yet unpicky about their homes 🦀🤣 Awww Mimi, thank you so much, and thanks for watching yet another big adventure 🥰🐚🥰

    Hello there!
    Wiiiiiiiiiind😂💨💨💨💨
Very nice cherry cowrie. It was nice to see the military turban so we know where the operculum come from. Once again well done transplanting Mr Crabbbe😄.
    How cute was that fish!
Think my favourite was the turban.
Lovely display Maddie, thank you. ❤xxx

G'day Alison 👋🏻💖 Wind indeed! Actually, we've had a week without my wind or waves here, and it's really kept the sea shells from washing up in the rock pools 😲 I think I suddenly prefer windy days! Crazy! As for the shells this time, I'm really glad that you liked seeing that Military Turban, it's a fun one! Crabs won't always switch homes, but I'm glad that this one did. Aww, thank you for also not minding that I showed a random fish for a few seconds before moving to the shore 🐟 Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Oh wow, I think the Biconic Rock Whelk was the crowd favourite this time 🤩 and the Grape too, to sure is a lovely one! I agree with you too, that hermit crab transfer was the best part of the whole day 🦀😁 Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Yesss so the Grape was your favourite as well 🤩 It's not everyday I find a shell like that! I'm glad that you liked the Cherry, Nerites and the vibrant little fish too 🐟 Thank you so much for watching 🥰

What a great day for shelling. The military turban I think was a first for me. The zebra volutes were very beautiful today. I also love the little ones you found. I really like the baby sand dollars. I think it is also very cool when the little crabs went into the bonnet shell. How long did it take the crabby to get into its new shell? Thank you for another wonderful shelling adventure. Hope you have a great day.

The hermit crab transfer was actually a fast one 🦀 the crab really wanted the bonnet shells, so it switched out in only 5 minutes, or maybe a little more, but less than 10 minutes. The Zebra Volutes were stunning one this time 🦓 and gosh, I think you're the first one to mention the mini sand dollars in a long while 😀 I'm glad that you still like seeing them 😁 So good to see you again by the way, I have been keeping your recovery in my thoughts.
