- Hi friends , This video was done for the new comers to yamaha bikes with single gear bike system, soo here the small and simple video for how to shift or change gear pattern in motorcycle, like yamaha bikes, models of yamaha fz s fz16 fazer yamaha r15 & r15 s series , even different brand models like duke , apache and so on , the gear system what i shown in this video is almost same procedure for most of sports bike.

Well I faced problems lot while shifting gear. When I am on 1st gear and going to 2nd gear I pull it up but I don't know why it goes to neutral rather than 2nd gear
- give some extra strength when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, to cross neutral position in between 1st to 2nd gears OK, if you not give strength it may give more beat sound, that's it , ntg will happen, totally if u notice u r in neutral position, then shift to second gear smoothly, then continue to other gears too :)

I agree with Pramud. This is really a great tutorial video. Next time though, record tutorial with narrations like this without using any background music. There is a saying that "If one is to correct another person's mistake, do it in a loving way". That I think is the best way. When i'm shifting gear from 2nd to 1st, Can i change gear twice from 2 to 1st like directly (2-> N,,, N->1) in one clutch? Or should i switch 2 -> Neutral in one clutch then release then again change gear from Neutral -> 1 by using another clutch movement
- a small gap is always recommend otherwise sprocket kit get damaged less kms then the expected one

This is just like the pattern of scooters in 20th century. Scooters having hand gears with first up, down with neutral and then 2,3,4 with down shift, in this case of bikes, the shifting to neutral is difficult, eventhough i ride the bike, i cant able to position neutral so easily, i just randomly pressing to make neutral between up and down. And anyways thanks for the demo.
- of course its a old pattern , but it helps a lot for upcoming bike learners right :)

after reversing the gears that is from 4,3,2 and den their is option for going on neutral or 1st gear.how to shift from 2nd to neutral
- At present you are at 2nd gear right , then do this one friend , just tap down slowly it goes to neutral , and if you tap it again down its goes to 1st gear , its ur choice on which gear you park ur bike , ie.., 1st gear or neutral.

naik we can make the gear to nuetral than 1st gear or we have to make it in the forst then nuetral
- if your question is about getting neutral..... You can make neutral from second gear to neutral itself just by tapping down, its not compulsory to go to 1st gear and make it to neutral position friend, my other suggestion is when you park ur vehicle on any upstream /down stream... Put ur vehicle on 1st or 2nd gear to overcome sudden rolling.

- not possible , it will sure touch neutral ...... so do smooth shifting for better gear box life span.

bro when the bike produces lot of sound than you should increase the gear and as the speed increases the sound of bike also increases
you have to listen to the sound of the engine bro
It dependson the rpm
- its a late reply , here the answer :
1-10 kmph 1st gear
10-20 kmph 2nd gear
20-30 kmph 3rd gear
30-40 kmph 4th gear
Above 40 kmph 5th gear ( but its not mandatory to follow same shifts , it varies according to conditions of road even people's mindset too )
