It makes total sense that Coal Chamber was so influenced by White Zombie. I didn't realize it back then. But after Meegs said something now I can definitely see and hear it. They're definitely their own version of White Zombie and they were damn good at it! They've always been one of my most favorite bands. I only got to see them once at Ozzfest 98 was at the Akron Rubber Bowl in Ohio. Is one of my favorite moments in life! I'll never forget it. I was 14yrs old then. Still Jamming Coal Chamber now 🤘🏼

Wow, you're so lucky! I wanted to go to that Ozzfest really bad! I have a close family member who went to that show! I have seen Coal Chamber live twice and yeah they are an incredible live band! I did however go to Ozzfest 1999 and that was so amazing! I went to Ozzzfest 99,2000, and 2001!
They also probably had rayna became bassist cause Sean yseult was white zombies bassist
I hung out with Meegs and Mikey at TX Independence Fest 2014. My band opened the festival for them in their new band at the time, We Are the Riot. I couldn't believe they were here at a mostly black metal type of fest (Behemoth was headlining) I got to hang out and chat with them for about an hour. Really fun time! The bros are funny as hell 🤘

White Zombie was one of my fav bands ever back in 93 -97. And then WZ broke up. And in that same year Coal Chamber came out. And Holy Shit I was hooked from the first time I heard Loco. It's 2023 now and I'm 47 yrs old. Guess what? Coal Chamber & White Zombie are still on the top of my fav band list.

Yes, Fender have been making 7 Strings since the 1990s. Look up the guitar Squier Stagemaster 7 those are really cool 7 string guitars, I've always wanted one.
Had a purple Squier Stagemaster that I played back in 2002-2006. Had Jack Skellington painted on the body. Switched out for a Peavey Predator. Ended up giving the Squier to a kid at a show one day, after we finished on stage. It was Floyd equipped, and not the best sounding or easiest to stay in tune.

True shit. I personally think dez is a prima donna anyway. Meegs and bug are both great musicians honestly and coal chamber even though they arent on slipknot or korns level they still are godfathers/pioneers in heavy music mad respect
