- Its July and a new roadmap has released, with new screenshots of the expert 101 and Class 158, as well as a new Teaser from Just Trains on a new route set in the "late 80's". Hope you enjoy!

The new Just Trains route is highly speculated on the Forums to be Preston to Lancaster and Morcambe! This is not 100% certain but looking at the teaser, it looks very similar to just outside Morcambe station, with the houses in both the teaser and Google earth!
Hoping this will be a rush hour style route package coming and not TSW 5 but yearly releases seem to be the new business model
New? This has been Dovetail's strategy for years, see Train Sim Classic for example, much to my frustration. TSW2 and Rush Hour seemed to be the exception. I hope it does turn out like that and we don't get TSW5.

Regarding the JT route, have a look at the 'additional' places on the Pacers destination board.....
If it was a merge with Blackpool branches it could be the route to either Manchester via Bolton or Leeds via Blackburn

It's 2024 and TSW4 ..there should be standard implementation of certain things by now. 1. Whistle/horn boards for crossings 2. All AI use the proper headlight codes on the trains. 3. AI use windshield wipers in snow/rain. There's more, but these are basic easy things to implement. No excuse! Sick and tired of these things missing, especially on new routes. Oh, the weather needs an overhaul. Losing my patience with DTG and TSW4..people spend good money on this game, there should be more effort in improving a lot of the immersion side of things by now. Its a sim, so make it more of a sim! Smh. Just had to rant.😡

I think we need to update the Edinburgh to Glasgow with adding the train going all the way to Alloa instead of terminating at cry and also making the Anniesland line for the 158 that would be very good for everyone
I'm thinking the JT route may be Exeter - Plymouth, especially with the iconic stations part (Dawlish)
It's definitely gonna link up with the blackpool branches

Would love to see them extend the ECML to Leeds and give us a northern caf stopper service in between Doncaster and Leeds

The photo of the new uk route looks like the curve leaving Morecambe heading for bare lane really hope it is anyway being from Lancaster would be nice to see it on the game
ive lived in Lancaster and Carnforth my whole life i really hope that this will be the route
I think the new route could be Preston to Colne or Blackburn. As trains from Blackpool South to Colne used Pacers.
Surprised we haven’t gotten another underground route maybe the jubilee line or Victoria line

Victoria line won’t happen because it’s an automatic line and other underground lines are possible
I wonder if TSW4/5 will ever introduce the west highland way line. I think if they done that it would be absolutely stunning with the class 158.
Say will they announce TSW5 at the Dovetail Direct next month?
I’m just looking through the forums and it says that the 158 is only gonna have scenarios and not timetables services on Fife circle I hope I’m wrong 😢

No date. By the way, it's not a dtg release. Anything related to trams or roblox and such is made by a different developers

I just want more stream routes. TSW has been very neglected when it comes to steam routes.
3rd party would be best for that. Steam is nicher than diesel/electric so doesn't sell as well

No it's in the uk. Players have already figured out on the forums the teaser image is morcambe
How come in train sim classic you can get all the way from London to Edinburgh and Glasgow but in this SIM they have nothing like that
Tsc has it built in sections and then you have to buy a subscription to then buy the whole thing so it's still expensive.
Plus it takes much longer in tsw and it's much more complicated to build things. They also only recently got licenses for the ecml but there aren't plans to create more
