- Kamala Harris is currently running in the elections to be the next President of the USA and naturally this has now placed her under a microscope where everything about her is being questioned and picked apart. This video is a fact check to answer the questions about her time as a prosecutor and as an attorney general as it pertains to putting some 1500 black men in prison for misdemeanor charges and for withholding evidence that could have saved a death row inmate from execution. This video does not aim to tell anyone how to vote or who to vote for but seeks through research and fact checking to spread the truth so that every voter votes based on truth and facts.

If we used the fact that her mother was Indian to say she was not black then a whole heap of black Jamaicans could not identify as black. Many of our people have black, white, Chinese and Indian in their DNA and some don't even know until they get tested. I find it very weird that she does not mention her father. I watched the convention last night and there was a montage of pictures and statements about she was raised by a single mother. There were only pictures of she, her mom, and her sister, and pictures of her mom holding and playing with her as a baby. Did she drop from a coconut tree? They mentioned NOT ONE WORD about the father, never showed a picture of she and her father, and never showed the little picture of her black grandmother holding her as a baby. Yet, she is saying she is black, and, of course, she is black whoever wants to accept that or not. America has this thing called one drop rule. One drop of black blood in your DNA and America says that you are black. It's constantly talked about that Kamala was raised by a single mom. Did her father not play a roll in her life? Certain right wingers have gotten figures from when she was the Attorney General, however, it was the elected District Attorneys who over saw most marijuana cases in California, not the AG (Kamala). The truth is that, under Harris marijuana prosecutions were largely not perused and most marijuana sales cases were misdemeanors.
