- Aight then folks. Here is something I know a LOT of you will be hype over. And it’s another diamond with a story behind. The owner of this widebody S4 B5, is a good friend of mine, and a Wikipedia of the S/RS4 B5. I’ve known him for over 20 years as I remember this guy with his cool Nogaro S4 B5 showing up on our Audi meets in Sweden when I just bought my A4 B5. I always loved his car even from back then. I don’t think I would own my B5 RS4 if I didn’t have this guy near me always if anything goes wrong with the car. He probably could easily put apart an RS4 B5 to the last screw and put it back together again. I don’t know any more mechanic that is such a perfectionist and he does everything with love to the cars. And especially this one, his baby. This guy bought his S4 B5 new in 1999, and just as me and my own A4 B5, he has had it since new. There is so much time and money put in this car, it’s crazy.Today it pumps out an insane 700 horsepower and over 900Nm of torque. It can hang with a 911 Turbo S on track, and faster than many supercars of today. This low mileage and low weight (R)S4 sedan has soul. And the detailed video about it goes online tomorrow Thursday.

Surely is very cool and lots of money put into it.
B5 is truly untouchable from not only a design standpoint, but simplicity as well.
My B5 has 300,000 miles on the OG motor and drivetrain. Turns heads everywhere. Daily driven and it will never stop.

@Anthony Galeano it seems to be happy right where it is! Plenty fast for me. I also have a BB6 (97-01) Prelude with cams/tune and full suspension set up for when I really want to send a car into the twisties. I love them both!
I wished my dad kept his pearl white B5 S4 and gave it to me rather than selling it in 2008. When I was 19 in 2017 I got a white 2012 S4 B8. The excitement doesn't feel the same as my dad's car.

Most beautiful looking b5 s4 I’ve ever seen and my favorite color for this car too!!! But why does 700hp look so underwhelming??? This car needs 1000hp! I want to see those wheels spin and hear the tires screech for their life, and have the exhaust scream at higher rpm’s and spit flames! The horsepower level in this is too nonchalant
@@petrolhead8851700hp too nonchalant?? lol social media has really made people detached from reality. 700hp is a lot of horsepower. The best explanation for why this car seems so tame is because it’s very well put together, tuned, and dialed in so yes a car that loses traction, is unpredictable, or has a violent power delivery may be more fun but a well dialed in car alleviates all this as much as possible. That car does what it’s supposed to do and does it well 🫡

I sold my 2000 Nogaro Blue Sport Stage 3 S4 back in 2011...I have no idea where it is today, but I always love to imagine it became something like this, to live on in someone else's heart and soul and provide the amount of joy I received while I owned it those 5 years of its long, powerful life.

B5's will _never_ lose their majesty. A timeless design, for sure.
This build makes me remember seeing pics and vids of a UK-spec (R)S4 in the same Nogaro Blue, back in 2007-2009, I think...quite a nice build, even had the correct cluster and interior. I think the owner raced his car at Castle Combe, Bruntingthorpe and even Isle of Man (I guess). He also had a website, but it's been so long, I lost the address. :(

Awesome! I’m a little biased but I like the oem body lines of the b5s4. The wide body fits the avants really well but I feel like it’s too much for a sedan for some reason. I love my stage 3 nogaro b5s4 and never want to get rid out it.

I have this car a4 2001 sedan with s4b5 twin turbo engine left to me by my late father. But the car was left halfway through and i have no money to finish it. I did thought of selling the engine and the part but this video has convinced me not to. I will be devastated if i actually sold it. I'm only 21 and i really hope i could one day revive the car.

How reliable are they at 500hp? I am on it with my maintenance too
Depends what setup you run. A well done K04 setup can be quite reliable. But it isn't uncommon for 500+hp S4s to spend more time getting fixed than actually driven

Whats the difference between rs4 an s4? Only the soft?
Rs4 has stronger engine internals, K04 turbos, bigger ICs, widebody, only in estate. Can't really compare to S4 including price.
I have a nogaro sedan set up similarly need that wide body kit though! Beautiful car 🧢

@@easycomeeasygo8901 these blocks definitely are, imagine the old 2.7tt blocks. These are 15 years newer and can easily handle 1000hp.
@@germanv8s877 nice. It's a shame that Audi doesn't do crate engine packages like the big three.... affordable ones that is, lol. great example is you were able to get a coyote engine for $6,000 brand new then another 1500 for control package. Plug and play.

I agree with you. I have a heavy modified S4 to with 669 hp on the wheels. Completely different story with acceleration, sound, speed and behavior, but the car is really nice and clean modified lots of time and money spend on the build, But unfortunately the horsepower doesn’t fit the specs in my ears but I could be wrong. 900 nm should have more wheel spinn on 1:st and at least 2:nd gear to, I know that my car that my car does it and mine dosnt have 900 nm… Maybe he didn’t have full throttle =p

If that was 700hp and 900nm of torque, the tires would have done WAY more than chirp, and you would have been GONE. That's like 4-500 horses max. Quit lying foo

A 4-500 hp 4 cylinder Subaru can keep up with 6 cylinder Porsches around the track, so that isn't really much of a feat anymore.
