- "Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder stopped by Universal Studios Hollywood to chat with "Extra" special correspondent Katharine Webb. He talked about his first "Vampire Diaries" fan experience, being one of People's Most Beautiful, and his episode of the new Showtime docu-series, "Years of Living Dangerously," which deals with climate change and religion.
I love the fact that he's the only famous person that's looking at the fans and the interviewer at the same time
I think he made a reference to Lost where his character got killed off in the first season.

The most beautiful people i wouls have to say goes tomanyone that makes an effort that helps save a life. That thimks with there heart, mainly someone who respects and loves themselves cares more about what thry csn do or what is on the inside, not vanity.. So how do we really saying or know who ian truly is..???? We dont we kmow who he has dated, he is sexy. And..? The environment but who is he realy?. Life is so much more than all of this, in a blimk of an eye it all could changr or end. I can live with that..i can loom in the mirror and admit my fsultd forgive snd accept, and never judge.. lmao he's looking at the audience. Very nice of him to continuously acknowledge the people standing there and watching him. By looking at them and making jokes to them, he includes them. Just because he looks to one general direction doesn't mean he's looking right at that girl. Don't make assumptions. I think he was simply wanting to make those people standing there feel included.

I admit I am a fan.. But COME ON!!iF HIS EGO gets any bigger.??? No offense here but before the vampire diaries... He was still,an amazing actor, however he was real. Meaning although he still,is no different than any of us.. We all see the transformation. .from the media fame ect.. I used to respect him for being who he was, himself. Now suddenly because of one show hes the sexiest?? Hes gorgous yes but come on... There are a million beautiful people. ... But how can people say who is the seciest or ect..?. When thry dont know lol anyone other than whats olastered on tv?. we could act, i could but i chose amdifferent route saving lives_ trauma surgeon Now I am nit at all comparing the two, he is a very talented gifted person! Actor... What makes me sad. (yes we have conducted some ideas perhaps paterns) ..in theast few years, starz actors ect. I watched growing up ones that jusr wanted the fame, pass away. Taking there own lives ( of course instead of helping the grieving family.. We are "mandated, bwsically told what to say or will be released to the **media!, change files bssically shut down our hospitwl to take care of the media publivity** to be honest: People,die every single day, if ian or,most knew or saw with there own eyes..?.how many lives.. I csnt even honestly say or comment on the tragic turn our society has taken, there has always been death violence.. We have so many bigger or big things happening right in front of our faces, wars. Yes the climate, i agree however, withun 24 hourd 9 dead 2 on life support sadly more than half are under 24. There stories are whar needs to be told, these young adults kids are beautiful...one night out next day
Okay, so you're saying because Ian isn't focusing on the people being killed that he has a big ego & doesn't care? That makes no sense. Ian definitely cares because the things he is talking about with the environment is affecting lives as well. This is something that we as people can control.
We can't control killings in the world unfortunately. I wish we could but sadly it's people's mindsets that need to be changed. Ian is a part of something that he is passionate about which is saving the animals, our environment, which will ultimately save us. You should watch the show he did about this before passing judgement.
RebelBSC I absolutely agree with you..He is using his fame to bring knowledge and rid us of ignorance regarding Climate change...we are a part of everything going on and only change can come from us...he is very passionate as you stated and if people cant respect that..well they arent fans..but I believe this young lady is confused...she is mixing his willingness and eagarness to get knowledge out with "EGO"...FYI a big EGO characteristic is dumbass Kanye West
