I just got out the army, but I would love to see the tac lights go through an infantry mans unit field exercise. The way soldiers treat things over time would be a good test. The javelot looks like a really good competitor.
Should’ve started with the nails off of the 2x4 and hold them and start hammering it in. Because who knows now if the holes where pre-drill for the nails. Especially that the flashlight doesn’t have the much weight to drive those nails in like a regular hammer does or you’d really have to be swinging down with the flashlight.
It is, however, a very unrealistic test. The damage to the head would suggest he was using a lot of force, and the aluminum held up to birdshot just fine. I'm not too worried about it being a parlor trick
