That's what I do with the regular strong shopping cart and i replace it with scooter wheel the scooter wheel and the crews that keeps the scooter wheel on if I see a scooter someone doesn't want or at a flee market i buy them I'm a artist are strong that is my tip on how to save money
Would the excess part of the exposed bolt be dangerous to customers feet? Opposed to the flat/flushed version you removed?
We did grind off some of the bolt at the end to make sure it was sticking out to much. You can also buy shorter length bolts so you don’t have to grind off at the end. Good catch!
You are spot on. This is a hack job as I sliced my toe on a cart with this exact fix
