I love it as well. It is absolutely delectable. I do find that sometimes if my skin is dry or it's the end of the day (not as fresh), perfume can smell different.

Not the 62 😭😭😅 that is one body spray that I will never not have in my collection. Last christmas I bought the gift set that sephora had of it, & I've bought 2 of the big bottles of it since! It's where my love for pistachio was discovered 🤤🤤

I have to definitely agree with you about Viva La Juicy Sucre it wasn’t giving what I thought it was gonna give and the packaging made it seem like it was gonna be a cupcakey vanilla sugar bomb of a fragrance. I remember trying to hunt down for a bottle of it in 2019 it was always sold out

I don't get the hype of Vanilla Potion. It's ok. But nowhere near as good as it was hyped up to be on Tik Tok.

Green Stravaganza is a love for me still, sorry 😂😂 I wore it the other day and it was on my clothes until the end of the day. But when I first smelled green stravaganza I knew it was going to be a love or hate for people. No in between.

It’s not just you, I feel the same way about honey buns nowadays. There use to be these honey buns I would get out the vending machines when I was young called Texas something and those things use to hit. No honey buns I get now compare.

Dua has a dupe of the HOS perfume :) Although it is always sold out and I don’t have the original it still smells real good

First things first, you are absolutely correct about the honeybuns. I be wondering if it was just another brand or something.
I agree with you on almost everything, except vanilla 28. That’s my baby! Lol. It wasn’t love at first sniff, but it was love at first dry down. It was bourbon vanilla brown sugary goodness wafting in the air all around me.
As for Devotion, I really wanted to like it. I sprayed it on my hand and my first thought was cleaning products. As it dried down it got more lemon cakey, and I was like oh okay, I get it now. Went back to Sephora, sprayed it all over me and I was nauseous all day.
I still bought a travel size because I wanted to be sure sure. Lol, but it was a No. 🤦🏽♀️
Cheirosa 62 is not a love. It’s nice and I like it more than the dupes I’ve smelled (including the new release from bath & body works). It’s definitely the Baccarat of body mists. I like it, but i don’t love it like 71.
The honeybuns don't be honeybuning 😂 uggh I wish that's what I got from vanilla 28. it's a little spicy to me.
That opening on devotion is so harsh to me! It takes too long to get to the point for me 😂

I was so excited to get Devotion because a lot of people said it smelled like Oriana or Love Don’t Be Shy and I love both, I redeemed Ulta points on a full sized bottle and was disappointed initially. I’ve now had it for several months ( never wore it) but when I smelled my bottle recently it smelled a little better but it absolutely can not replace Lira or Hufflepuff those are both loves for me. ❤
Though I'm not a fan of LDBS or Oriana I don't think Devotion smells like either one of those. But skin chemistry is a big factor with this one, because it pulls so bitter on my skin. And it's certainly not a replacement for Lira or Hufflepuff

Yes it just doesn't give lemon cake like I wanted. I had a 1ml sample of Lira and it immediately gave me lemon cake . But it was literally just that little sample but it left me wanting more!

Lattafa - Yara 😒 It was compared to every Strawberry dessert known to man and I got None of it; even after sitting for months.
Vanilla 28 started me back on my fragrance journey too. 😄Sometimes it can be a little too woody, but it has its place and still sweet enough for me to repurchase
I love Yara but not for the reasons people said. I always saw it described as a strawberry milkshake and it's definitely not that to me. However it's a love of mine. I find a use for vanilla 28 but it's not the pinnacle of all vanillas like I thought it would be 🤷🏾♀️
I agree about SDJ 62 . Now SDJ 40 is my girl but 62 is just ok . I do really like vanilla potion but it’s not anything super special .
lol I love vanilla 28 But when I first smelled it, I did not like it, and I don’t like it on paper. It’s definitely not gourmand, but there is Something addictive in it for me. Now the sol de Janeiro At first I loved it, but then I totally went off of it and now I actually hate that smell and it smells cheap to me. I also have juicy couture sucre, although I only paid 100 for it For 150 I would not have purchased. It smells a lot like gold, couture, and honestly for me the smell changes depending on the season. The bottle is fun, and it’s a pleasant, but I agree not the best thing ever. That being said for a 3.5 ounce new fragrance I’m not bothered by the price.

I expected Devotion to be amazing and I don’t like it at all. I’m really glad I tested it in the store because I absolutely would have returned it.

I completely agree about D&G devotion. That creamy citrus smell makes me nauseous! I don’t get the Cheirosa body sprays either. Another one for me is Burberry Goddess. It lasts 2 minutes and it’s just a generic basic vanilla. Doesn’t smell bad by any means but it’s so light it barely smells like anything at all, and it’s nothing groundbreaking. I honestly think a lot of influencers get paid (or incentivised with free product) to hype up things that are just basic and nothing special.
Sol de Janeiro 62 is such a basic scent I completelyyyy agree. I got the new discovery set because of the hype. I’m like wtf is everyone else smelling? All this shit smells basic. Doesn’t stink but nothing to write home about

I agree 100%. Devotion has a chemical smell that doesn’t go away. Vanilla 28 is just okay. I agree I never wear it by itself. Sol de Janeiro 62 is okay but to me the best one was 39 and they discontinued it.
And that smell has only gotten stronger as it has set. 39 is the coconut one right? The blue one? If so, I found out about it right as it was being discontinued...I got a lil travel size bottle but that's it!

I was really into Devotion the first time I sprayed it in Ulta. But when i ended up getting samples and worn it more and more - it definitely stopped smelling like that Lemon Candy scent. Hard to describe what it turns into but not what i fell in love with.

I remember smelling Devotion in sephora and immediately thinking it was a smell I would enjoy in candle form or another type of home scent, but not on my skin. Almost fell into the hype and blind bought a travel size. Glad I didn't. 😊

I remember when I first got Vanilla 28 I had the same reaction. I didn’t get the hype (still kinda don’t). It smelled like vanilla extract to me. As it sat, I do enjoy it more. I use it as a topper to amplify the vanilla in certain scents. I’ve worn it alone a couple times and it is nice but it doesn’t wow me.
Yeah still not hype level to me however it has gotten better and is a great topper for a lot of things.

The first time I smelled Devotion was on the paper thing in Ultas magazine that they send out and on the paper it was ok, but I sprayed it on my arm in the store aaaaaaand noooooooo, no...like it wants to be good, but it ain't 😂

But one that i most definitely dont get the hype on is #62...it just smells like every other beachy scent to me. BUT i do have a bottle and am trying to use it up and IT DOES GET COMPLIMENTS!! I won't repurchase it for sure. My favorite SDJ is #71 and #39 (and can't find #39 anymore)

Devotion, I get orange Dreamsicle popsicle, no lemon and that’s why I was disappointed. Vanilla 28, smells nice, but i was expecting something more than it was because of the hype, but it layers with almost everything. Bianco Latte, is just ok, I have a travel size and will not be buying a full bottle. Etc 😂😂

Honey bun used to be a quarter when I was a kid and they were way different than they are now my old ass aunt asked me to pick up a honey bun and I told her they not the same and she said I want a honey bun I get her honey bun for 250 and it was horrible. The frosting was like a sheet of plasticwas hard and yuck and she agreed
62 Sol perfume. I love it for layering gives gives a nice something to fragrances that need a little extra something.
Same beginner blind by vanilla 28. It’s still sitting in my collection collection because I don’t like it, but I don’t sell it because I think someday I like it it makes me sneeze. It’s not vanilla but still sits my collection.
Devotion was another blind by and effort, it was just OK as it sat, I liked a little more so I got a decant of Hufflepuff and that was so underwhelming. It made me like devotion even more love, but it sits in my collection, barely gets used, but I do like it.
Aww I like Sucre, although I only paid 60$ for it and I didn’t use it back in the day maybe that’s why. I like the juicy dna and sucre has a little sweet tartness to it I love.

@@vaniamickelle Nahh I don’t get a sweet cake from it I get like a sweeter and even a little more tart OG juicy scent but I enjoy the OG myself. My only qualm is the longevity is typical juicy unfortunately. Honestly, even though I like a couple SDJ products I still don’t truly get the hype and don’t consider them staples. The 62 was very disappointing but other people tell me I smell like cake when I have it on…I only wear it now because of that like you said too lol!

By the wayyy have you tried layering the OG (pink) Yara with 62? I seen the combo online somewhere and it smells sooo bomb! Like I couldn’t stop smelling myself.

I used to love the bum bum cream scent, but I got tired of it. Every company has their own version. VS and BBW just came out with their own versions. I am tired of the Baccarat dupes. There are so many.

I agree with you on that vanilla 28. I have a big bottle of it and I can't see myself wearing it.
I don’t have a bottle myself but I have smelled Vanilla 28 many times. It’s one that would layer well with other scents. If you need to use it up, maybe try layering with your other fragrances and play around with it.
I have decided not to pull the trigger on buying Vanilla 28 since I already have a go-to vanilla layering fragrance (Madegascar Vanilla perfume oil by Nest) but I get why people like it. It leans a little too spicy on my skin. I enjoy it but I don’t love it enough to buy.
