- Here comes a Holiday hair tutorial on a very soft and feminine curly updo with a side braid, great for medium length and long hair. It works best on curly hair (at least wavy hair, just not straight!) and once your hair is curled, it's really quick and easy to recreate. It's a perfect hairstyle for Christmas and New Year's eve as well as wedding, prom, ball, graduation, etc.

I wore this hair do to an awards banquet, and it was the best day of my life. Not only did I get tons of compliments, but I won the most prestigious award, got asked out by my long time crush, and got a call saying that I had been accepted to Harvard. No joke.

I did this hairstyle with a bunch of flowers for my cousin's wedding in Mexico and everybody loved it, it turned out so beautiful! I'm really glad I found it
I did this for homecoming and I have hair that reaches my belly button and it STILL WORKS!!! It looked like a super cute pony tail hair style

I did this hair style for my winter ball and i got tons of compliments. I also have much longer hair but it still worked great.

I'm going to attempt this hairstyle for my wedding today, only with a second braid on the other side. I tried to do it yesterday, and as I have very thin hair, I found it good for my hair, to put in some pieces of clip in extensions, especially where the braids are, to make them look even bigger. Wish me luck! :)

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I wore this for my wedding reception :) had to modify the bun a little because I have crazy thick long hair, but not too much- I just secured all of my hair in a ponytail and skipped pinning the top up before doing the twist-and-pull bun. it worked really well!
