- #farmlife #tractor #dairyfarm Tractor troubles always come at the worst time possibly!🤦🏼♀️ Nothing like switching over equipment the field! Luckily our day improved and we even got a chance to mow the mystery field!!❤️🇺🇸🚜
You’re a hard working young lady. I wish more young people your age would take lessons from you
Your grass goes in- chocolate milk comes out 👍🐮🧋 chicken dinner ✌️
Really like your videos. Love you and him good people
I grew up on a dairy farm in Michigans thumb in the early early 60s I started driving tractor when I was 4 years old pulling the square baler with my dad stacking the bales on the flat rack wagon behind the baler. All I had to do was keep it going straight down the row and when it came to the corners dad jumped off ran up and turned it for me then back on the wagon he would go. Started pulling the spring tooth drag or harrow by myself at 5 years old. That was with an old Minneapolis Moline model R with a hand clutch I had 4 fields that all I did about every 2 weeks was go out and drag them to kill the quack grass that was overtaking everything back in those days. For people that may not know Quack grass was the grass they planted out in the plains after the dust bowl days. It had roots that traveled under the soil and kind of vines out. It was to help hold the soil together after the dust bowl. But it became a nuisance weed everywhere else because it was so hard to kill
Another great video
Good morning from Wisconsin.
I can’t think of any more words to describe how great your videos are. It’s a great way to start Sunday morning along with a cup of coffee.
Keep smiling and keep farming. My coffee is already warming up for your next video.😉🚜🐄🇺🇸
Thank you for taking us along by sharing this video. Keep farming!
You bet!!
@@tayfarmsالحنين :هواشتياق لقطعت من روحك موجود بمكان آخر. I love you 😘❤
I wish I could help on the farm you guys be safe
Thanks
You have to show us the calves in the old barn once in awhile. We have been with them since they were born!
I’ll be sure to show them soon!
I always try to keep a crescent wrench, pair of pliers, & a straight screwdriver in the toolbox of every tractor. You can fix a lot of problems with those simple tools.
Great job mowing Taylor and Brent
Great job baling Taylor
That hidden field would make the perfect camp spot
My dad taught me to have a paper towel or cloth rag to check the fluids. You can set the end of the dipstick on the cloth and it will darken showing fluid level easily.
Hello 👋 Brent
You need a factory service manual, go through the clutch adjustment procedure, the clutch should dump the pressure to the TA so you can shift when stopped.
I found it easiest to fill, to put the seat back, and sit down, using a fatter funnel.
We had 2, 1066s and a 1566, all turned up, the 15 was dangerous doing tillage. One 10 had dt466 parts in the dt414 block.
Enjoyed your video thanks Taylor have a great day.
Lansing, Michigan. thanks for your videos. memories for a 73-yr-old.
Have you ever used Windy Hill Restorations in Windam, Me. For your old Farmall Parts? Ron does a great job getting Farmall parts for me. 1066 is a great work horse.
I want to see you wrapping bales
Good Morning Ms. Tay and Brent. As always, loved the video. They are just the “Best”. You and Brent are too funny at times with your funny sayings, etc. Okay, already looking forward to the next video. Have a great week. Please stay safe and take care.
Hi! So glad to hear that you enjoyed watching 😀. Looking forward to hearing from you next time! Thanks so much and have a wonderful upcoming week!
Great video Taylor
Tell Brent thanks for letting us share your adventures. Always love ❤️ your videos 😊
It's always fun to follow along w/ u on ur farming journey! I'm glad the concern w/ the 1066 was as simple as low hydraulic fluid!!
Another great video 😊 I figured Brent knew that trick lol Glad you figured out the 1066 they are in my and many farmers around here the best tractor IH ever made. 🤗
Nice. Video
😃thanks for watching!!
Love you guys! Love the mowing vids. You should make some long ones. It would help us insomniacs.
I been a long time subscriber, I actually adopted you as my virtual daughter. I hope you eventually purchase the farm, because I want to continue the ride!! ❤
Not a long time subscriber but I want to continue the ride. It’s been so awesome so far.
Great video Taylor! You Rock 💯✌🏻💚🌱 I hope you and your Boss have a great week!!
that diff lock pedal all that is in thier is a couple orings you can take the snap ring off the top pull the circle off and ten unhook the lines under neath and pull the whole valve out and on the bottom is a plug un scew that and the stem will come down out thier is a spring in there to so be careful you dont lose that if the stem is not pitted ten just new orings will get you goin again. if it isnt use the stem doesnt get coated with oil the little rubber boot holds moisture and then it rust and pitts and guys get mad at them. the stem is no longer availible but a good machine shop van make a new one if you need one
Good to see you are getting more hay put up because you never know what next year might be.
See you again soon.
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another awesome video. Just shows every day is a school day, who's a dip shit that was funny 😅. There's one thing about you Taylor your not afraid to get your hands dirty great to see, glad the bailer is behaving makes things easier. Back in your happy place mowing grass thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Sometimes I wonder who the real boss is of this operation lol. Brent listens to what you have to say and weighs your imput. I can tell he is a good man to work for(with).
😁 he is a great boss that’s for certain!
Good video Taylor with proper Farming content
Still await your return reply accordingly
Many thanks
For your take on real Farming
Stewart !!!!!
Also a little ballpeen hammer is another tool to include.
Good morning Taylor
Once again great video, I learned something new about tractor maintenance, So glad that the goal of bales was met an exceeded!! How are the hefiers doing?
Enjoy your day !!
Lovely video Taylor. Love watching your machinery and tractors working .your brilliant at operating them. Well done and way to go young lady. Please say hello to Brent for me. Kind regards Patrick Brazil.
Thank you, you are really too kind! I will certainly tell Brent you said hello 😃. Have a safe a happy week!
Glad the IH was an easy fix. It's always nice when a big problem turns out to be a little one.
Yes! It’s so nice to find out it was just something minor!
the beautiful and awesome dancer Ms. Taylor!!!!
Too funny. I know the dance act that you’re referring too. Lol
Hello Taylor....great to see you love the farm life and are thinking of having a place of your own one day, once it gets into the blood it's not easy get away,,just a quick one do ye not have to tag the girls and calfs?
Good to see you are getting more hay put up because you never know what next year might bring.
Smart and cute farm girl!!!
I thought this was a family friendly Channel!!🤣Brent cracks me up sometimes!
☺️ I know!! 👍🏻👍🏻😂
Hi Taylor hang in there these little problems only build character .and as always making lemon aid out of lemons 😊
That was good info on filling hydraulic reservoir with the spout other side up. That secluded field looked like a nice relaxing place.
Taylor I like your videos they show a lot of real stuff. Was wondering how that hose on the water tank was holding up in the heifer barn. They can get curious and run against it or chew on it when it’s unprotected like that.I am glad that tractor was a just fluid
Great stuff as always Taylor!! Thank you and Brent for sharing your journey!! I hope you have a blessed weekend!! Eddy
Hay,i never knew that,dump the oil backwards,awesome
Let that be a lesson Tay! It's not always a good sign when an oil leak stops leaking! It means you're out of oil! 🤠 Nice being out on the mower and baler with you! Not a good year for corn in Maine this year, eh? Enjoyed your video, Taylor.
I forgot to mention than when you got up on the 1066 wearing your coat on your waist, I thought you were wearing a kilt lol!
Hi Taylor you did a great job
I always run my gear drive Internationals 5 gal over full, there is a o-ring in the case that can give issues when starting it up priming the pump, and on our hills it helps keep the final drive lubed on the up hill side. Old IH mechanics I worked with always said this like it was a bible verse.
That baler must have your name on it if you are the designated operator!
Thank you for sharing. You cover a great variety of your jobs on the dairy farm. I am a new subscriber from a place named Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Looking forward to experiencing your seasonal jobs.
18:35, "worlds worst lawn mower", if it isn't the worst, it's certainly in the running. Nothing good is going on with that motor.
I have been playing the dairy farm drinking game and have been waiting for .... "reaches down and picks a nail off of the driveway saying something about that being expensive when it punctures a tractor tire" and ... " scrapes hand and just wipes on some utter balm and keeps working " Thanks for the videos even if I have not had the opportunity to chug a beer.
Oh great...having to add hydraulic oil in your favorite location😕. It’s an IH, sure it will start. I’m glad someone likes those Mickey D pumpkin pies, too sweet for me. Enjoyed the ride along Taylor. Stay safe.
Another great vid! Things will break! Stay safe
Thanks!! Yep always something breaking ☺️
equipment fluids check should be a daily thing.
It would certainly save some trouble!
Do yourself a favor and invest in a gas powered or cordless leaf blower. Blow off your equipment after each use to prevent fires and is much easier to see potential issues. Great job. Keep it up !!
don't forget to always lock the tail gate , it could go down if hose was to break ! good luck. You are a real hand , always turn tractor off to hook up hyd. hoses it makes it easier to hook up.
Good vlog Taylor
Keep up good work lady love watching u and your boss u are awesome lady
Thanks so much!
Beatifull
Glad you're tractor issue was the oil level
Howdy from Vermont!! I love how you mow your outer swath first that's the way I do it as well ,but everyone I work with always mows it till last why I don't know. I lived in Maine for a long time and miss not being up there!!
Hi!! Finally someone who understands me!!😄. Maine is beautiful, a little less hilly than Vermont. We spent a few weeks in the mountains in Vermont years ago, went cross country skiing. It was beautiful!
I lived an worked on a farm just up yonder from where you're at in the town of Doverfoxcroft now I work on a small farm here in Stowe Vt, Maybe one day i'll have to swing by and say hi in person :)
Thanks Taylor for sharing. Best wishes, Deb
Thanks for watching!and same to you 😊
All you have to do is poke a hole on top of opposite side of the hydraulic oil pale.
Then you can pour it the normal way.
normal way. Great videos 👍🇨🇦
That is true. Thanks for letting Ms. Tay and Brent know if this technique. Have a great day.
Use a nail then leave the nail in the hole to keep dirt out
We’ll have to try it this way next, thanks for the tip! 😀
Its been way too long for me to remember, but I think if you adjust the clutch linkage you wont need to pull the TA handle back to make it shift easily. Find a service manual or talk to a good service man familiar with those reliable 66s!
Another great show Tay! 👍👏🐄
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Tay, great video again. Yes that is an easier way with a big pail of oil but what I do is pour the big pail in to 4 smaller jugs and that makes it easy to put into hard to reach situations. 🇨🇦👍🚜 take care.
Taylor, what a great video. Makes me want to go oout and do some farming. Love the haying season. We never did green bales, just dried hay .Square ones at that. Glad the Internattional your baby, came out all right. Hydraulics are fun. A little low and you would think the tractor was dead. Have a great day and keep on farming. God Bless.
Thank you for video
It’s our pleasure! And thank you for joining us!!😃
boss man has good humor and pocket full off cash.stay safe.
He sure does 😂. Thanks so much for tuning in!
Really enjoyed your video
So glad!
Very nice video, keep on posting them!!
Thanks so much, we will!
Good video, I used to cut hay but it was a pt10 Heston sickle mower/conditioner which you couldn’t drive as fast, took longer to cut a field. I appreciate farm girls/women that aren’t afraid to get there hands dirty. Keep up the good work and God Bless.
That’s awesome! Nothing wrong with having to spend a little more time in the field in my opinion 😉. Thanks so much and God bless you as well!!
Those 66’s where terrible to dump oil into, was always told to keep them a bit over full also
Thanks so much!!
Good morning Taylor
Hi!!👋🏻👋🏻
You must of had some wind to blow the corn down like that. You are right those pies are great.
It was quite blustery!
Hard workers 😀😀🚜🚜🚜🐄🐄🐄🐄
Nice video,,there's alot of levers on that tractor.
Yes they are, thank you!!
you work a lot
Love. You
I have a JD 2240 that was really low on hydraulic fluid. It has a hydraulic hi/low similar to the TA on IH's. It wouldn't even drive up a hill. Filled it up and it was fine.
A good way to clean your round baler out as with a leaf blower works way better than a hose with a nozzle in the end up your compressor and if you have one with a gas engine on it you can even do it in the field
I said to turn the bucket that way ...
fifty bucks a pail for that trans fluid at our tsc here!! dont waste it!! does the corn belong to a dairy farm or crop farm? your a lady with many hats today!
You can over fill it a little to
Sometimes Brent just kind of grunts and waves his arms around when giving you directions. No idea how you understand what he’s talking about sometimes.😂
Extra feed is GREAT but inventory control is important too, year dates on bales to that old stock is used first.
Very true!
A good video would be putting your hay bales in the upper hayloff, above the cows
It has been so dry here that we have had to water our trees!
The problem you had with it cutting the bale wrap was the tailgate? or did I miss something? Stay well.
Hey girlie good video I've been watching you for a while and I really enjoy it good job but that Massey Ferguson is four-wheel drive what model is that keep up the good work sweetie
First!!! 🆒 VIDEO Taylor!!!
👍🏻👍🏻
@@tayfarms 👍👍👍!!!!!
UR not A dipstick...Taylor!!!! UR..A hard worker and HOT 🔥!!!
夢を叶えるのは大変なことでも、お二人ならば、出来ます!お互いの笑顔があれば。hokaido in Japan.
Where is your go fund me site , Taylor.
👍
Hi Tay! I was wondering if you ever get a rash on your arms from handling hay short sleeved? I do unless I wear a long sleeved flannel shirt.
Thank you Tay!
Is there an adjustment to keep the door from popping open that could be made if that person that told you about the door coming open will tell you . Hopefully.
