I have seen some complain on the power issue on the 4k version. some said it was fixed by shouldering contacts in the power connector, no sure my self thought. best send it in for repair in my opinion.
Do you have a power supply for the 12v input to test if it turns on using that, like one from Ursa cameras or such?
I returned it and got another one. If it happens again I'll look into that suggested fix

Do you think it might be the fuse blown for AC power input? Do you have a 12V DC XLR 4-pin to test if it is the built-in power supply? Keep up the good work, can't wait for part two.
Not sure. I already sent it back but someone else said they blew through 3 of these new units. Might be a production issue.
Could the Black Magic Web Presenter HD stream HLG input signals using the Rec.709 color space?

How would I use that with the hyperdeck HD plus and the Atem mini pro
HDMI out to this but you would lose the multiview
@@AJaytheCEO here is the set up I’m thinking of purchasing, please let me know your thoughts. Minus an Atem. Haven’t decided yet
Three: HyperDeck Studio HD Plus ( I own 1 already)
One: Web presenter HD or 4K (but after seeing your review on the 4K) I might just stick to the HD version
One: Blackmagic MultiView 4 HD
Now I just need to decide which Atem would best fit into this package. Can you please help.

You might get a better result using the hdmi -> sdi 12G. It might cause Problems using lower than 12g if you really consider streaming 2160@60p

Hello, I want to live 4k stream a sporting event with a scoreboard overlay. Can I do that with this?. Any Help is much appreciated.
This will only livestream at 4K. You will need to send the image and video combined already to this encoder.

they never come with a power cable, as that would imply either giving like 4 different cables of which you'd only use one, or 4 SKUs with different cables, which doesn't make any sense, also saves on the resources needed, it's ecological ;-)
when you press 'off', it waits until the cache is empty to stop
25Mbit/s should be plenty sufficient for 4k streaming in decent quality. 50Mbit/s is for sports style quality
if you modify the XML, you can actually specify a speed in Mbit/s. the main issue is the internet connection, that is a function of your market, in particular in the US which are broadband challenged.
Wouldn’t you use the Atem as the switcher?
I normally would but this is how I had to use it to test my setup

Yes it does
Yololive may not be 4K but better than this unit. It’s a streamer a solid multi streamer.

Interesting. I’ve received 3 faulty WebPresenter 4K in the last 10 days - I’m definitely not ordering another one, so am going to go have a look at this Yolo thing now.
@@jonathanweston2448 makes me suspect the power supply being subpar. Have you tried to use a 12V DC PSU using the 4-pin XLR connection?
This device will not function as an encoder for me, all I can do it use it as a webcam with a software encoder.
How do you have it connected as it encodes all my Livestreams
@@AJaytheCEO Directly to my network via Ethernet. I get perfect Speedtests and can stream via OBS on same ports but the Web Presenter just blinks "On Air" and the cache eventually fills up.
Everything is updated, all settings are correct and the same streaming keys work via OBS, with the Web Presenter as a Webcam.
It may be related to the Ubiquiti network gear that makes up our building. Testing currently but I'm bummed.
@@iinRez in obs does the 4k signal come from the webpresenter?
40 minutes of blah... a lot of ads you dropped on a poorly thought out filming of a taping and etc
