Spring Lemon Topiary Diy 2019

- In this Spring Lemon Topiary Diy 2029, I show how I take a Galvanized bucket from Walmart and paint it. Next, I take a styrofoam ball and put a dowel in it. Next, I add leaves to the foam ball and under the base of the topiary. Finally I glue lemons onto the topiary and add grapevine around the stem of the topiary to make a beautiful spring lemon topiary for my home decor.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Lemons from Walmart
Small grapevine wreath to cut apart.
Foam ball 3.8 inches
Floral foam 4.8 inches I would recommend using a deeper foam from the Dollar Tree.
Wooden dowel 5/16 x 36 cut to size you want from Walmart
Green leaves from Walmart
Waverly chalk paint in Hazelnut from Walmart

Very pretty!! I have been using lemons in my kitchen for summer for a couple of years now. I have a lemon candle and soap from BBW. My husband loves the soap!! He wants the soaps in the bathrooms. But I like different ones in each. Lol Tyfs. HUGS

Beautiful I just made a lemon lime topiary. I added the fake fruit but I used wood skewers trimmed to the size and added a bit of clear glue to secure both the lemons and limes and it’s so secure!

You can soak you grapevine in water and it will be come very pliable
What if you used a longer stick and just glue it to the bottom of the bucket and then put your Styrofoam on.

@@TheMagnoliaHousewifeHello.. Doing PT at this time. Fingers and thumb not moving good yet. Four cast in three months, they haven't moved. See Dr. again on Thurs. and see what is next. I didn't know till the other day that he replaced the thumb knuckle with my tendon. What they can do these days, wow :) I can drive now, my table is full of Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, Walmart craft items. Getting good at being left handed now, I brace things with my right hand, works pretty good. Thank you for asking. You and your Husband have a Blessed weekend.

Really cute idea❣ Wonder if you could make the lemons removable and then be able to change it in the late summer to apples or small sunflowers etc. Like the use of the leaves on the bottom instead of moss. Nice project❣

? What if you cut & stick small small branches into the round styrofoam then hang the lemon off of the grapevine branches,then glue the shiny leaves in to cover the styrofoam gaps.

What section did you find your lemons in? I haven't seen them at my Walmart yet.
My Walmart had all the lemon decor on a small section in the same aisle with the Easter decor of wreaths and garden stakes. Hope you find them.
