Just started taking this in a 50mg tablet a week ago, along with a diuretic. Along with working out & trying to watch my diet, my B/P went from 175/120 down to 155/96! Still high but I do feel MUCH better! More relaxed, sleeping better & more energy. Probably should've been on BP meds ten-years ago.

Why is losartan not goof for african Americans? Its alot of research on it and it may not or wont work on african Americans.

Yup. I don’t see any reason why you cannot, unless you are specifically allergic to any of them.
MY BP MEDS WERE CHANGED TO LOSARTAN AND I AM SCARED TO DEATH TO TAKE IT BECAUSE OF THE SIDE AFFECTS I'M READING ABOUT. HOW LIKELY AM I TO HAVE AN ADVERSE AFFECT.
While I cannot guarantee that you will not experience any side effects, Losartan is pretty well tolerated and the greater majority of people take it with no issues. If there is a specific concern, I’d say discuss with your doctor and see if s/he has any suggestions. All the best.

Dr ken berry says this is better to start on than the others. Look up the video. I’m with you but beta blocker really made me tired. Starting this today …not looking forward to it

I've beeen taking Losart for a while I take 75 MG in the morning after breakfast . It really help your libido and it has improved my erection issues. Can Losartan cause constipation and what is it made out of ?
