A tip for the crocheters out there...the easy way to seperate your hair have a cup of cool water and dip your piece of hair in water and it will almost seperate by itself. This stops the frizz when trying to pull it apart dry. It works

This is how my neighbor did my hair while I went through chemo. She gave me my woman pride back. It’s just hair ? Nope it’s way more. She was an angel i met at the best time. Now she does my hair to help me grow it out. I have fragile hair. It’s already to my shoulders. She’s a miracle worker on chemo white girl hair and the aftermath of regrowth. And she’s an angel doing something for women dealing with hair loss than nobody else could do. She’s just a perfect soul.

Did the chemo hair loss leave you with enough to braid and use the extensions? How long did it last?
@@debradambrose7620 I didn’t lose all my hair. I had extreme hair thinning. No balding. I believe ( could be wrong) oral chemos tend to do the extrme hair thinning - IV chemo does total hair loss. ? She also used purchased hair to braid in so it made it appear I had far more hair than I did.

But after watching all of BeautyCanBraid videos I became so much better 🥰💖🥰 I now have clients 😂😂 regular lil ole me learning how to braid with the intent of being my own stylist to having clientele... Ashley Holmes, that’s wonderful. Im still working on my hair. For some reason, I can braid it but I can’t get the cornrows to look pretty. But that’s okay (for now) because I’m always doing the crochet style that covers the braids.

Ashley Holmes, yes, I can do those & they look lovely but then when I have to take them out, I realize I may have messed up because of how many I did. I need to learn how to make them thicker because I do the really small individuals & it’s about 250 braids. Putting them in, my hands hurt but when I have to take them out, my hands be dead! LOL

So many things ! This woman is gorgeous. Her hair before you began was very pretty and I really like how gentle you were with braiding her hair and crocheting. Also I loved that you clearly explained what you were doing and where you found each product. I have never seen someone shear and back comb to create real edges. Overall so great !!!! Such a wonderful technique to back comb the hairline like the old days, but the cutting first makes all the difference. I think you could do an entire video on this technique with tons of hits. I’d REALLY be interested in how this technique works for straighter hair textures or if you have another fantastic innovation to share

Hi there, love your videos! They have been a huge help to me. I am mixed and my hair is mixed also, some of it is more kinky and some is straight but it is all fine, smooth, and slippery. It's very hard to keep braids in or even wigs on as they just slide off. But crochet seems to work pretty well for me once I found someone to do the cornrows to where they will stay put and let me get the crochet hair in. I have experimented with a lot of crochet hair and the slippery silky type hair works best, it does take a lot more time to install because I have to use smaller pieces and knot them three times but it does match my own texture and is not itchy!!
I love the natural hairline that you did even though I thought it looked perfectly beautiful without it. Right now I have the back half of my hair done and am getting ready to do the front, had to stop by for a quick review. Wish me luck! :)
