      @@DeliciousHomeCooking xD i finally made mine yesterday using your method. I waited 8hr then check.. Its still runny but have the white patches of yogurt.. I thought it was a fail, it saddens me so i took a glass of it and just drink it (gave my cat and dog some too) and i leave the remaining in the jar.. After 2hr or so i was going to remade them i look at the jar and they alivee or the bacteria just it become jelly creamy like. It seem it just needed a little bit more time.. And today 1/5 left of it in the jar i keep eating them and i ran out milk. But i read diluted condense milk also can be made into one. I will try it using the leftover yogurt as starter. All u want to say is thank you for your video. It inspires me to build my kingdom of yogurt. 🥺👍👍

    Can I add more yogurt to the recipe?

    Can I keep it resting for more than 10 hours?
    I ask because I kept mine for 16 hours 😬.
    How long can it be kept in the fridge after it’s done please?

      No need to keep it for more than 10 hours, maximum 8-10 hours are enough.

      If you don't have yogurt, you can very well make yogurt. There are many ways to start off.
      For instance, you can take 1/3 cup of warm milk and add thai green chili to that. After about 10 hours you will have something similar to yogurt (but not exactly the same). Just remove the chili and discard it.
      Now you could use that thing to start making yogurt by just following the recipe in the video (instead of yogurt you will need to add the chilli thing you made)
      Finally, when you make it, it won't be the same as yogurt, you would need to repeat this process 3-5 times to get the yogurt

      Your milk should be luke warm.. and if it don’t work then try it with placing a green chilli on the top of milk.. it might be helpful because I tried it myself

  • @carmieintegrativenutrition9591

    Why does milk have to reach boiling point? There's ultra pasteurized milk.

    • @DeliciousHomeCooking
      @DeliciousHomeCooking  Před 3 lety +1

      Milk that has been heated up to 180 F in order to slow the growth of bacteria in milk, which lengthens its shelf life
      Heating the milk makes for a richer end product, and also kills any bad bacteria in the milk.

      But you are right too
      We can use ultra pasteurized milk 👍
