- It's Bring Your Son to Work Day, and Yawgmoth has certainly raised a bright young man! We plan on using K'rikk's powerful abilities to construct a mono black powerhouse of a commander deck.

You guys are the only channel I've seen that actually puts up videos on these commanders faster than I can brew my own lists. Granted that's only when we decide to brew the same commander from the set first, but still. Props.
I’m just imagining how good he is with Kethis, that legendary demon from M20 since for each “phyrexian” mana you would pay that is pretty much drawing two new cards.
Edit: I meant Vilis Broker Of Blood not Kethis.
like we say in the video, it seems almost like an “instant win” two card combo if your deck is constructed a certain way
If youre still wondering how good that synergy is, its amazing. Its great card draw for black and with the amount of life gain in my deck i can easily draw into something thatll get me my life back.
Making a K’rrik deck and been looking for some nasty combos and this video really helped. My poor friends in the student lounge at the university lol. Thanks guys.

Got it from precon, and since I had lots of black cards in my disposal, decided to build the deck.
K'rrik is mono-black good stuff in a nutshell and I love it.
Throw demon's horn in with the extort stuff.
A year late but finally built a K'rrik deck. Its basically combo tribal but Doomsday is my favorite. My go-to pile is Ransack the Lab, Victomize, Mike n Trike and finally Necropotence just in case I screw something up so I don't deck myself. Btw it's cool going back and checking out your older video's, you've come a long ways guys keep it up.

Lol. Love this. I stumbled into aetherfux/bolas/Sensei’s on accident on my own. Was kinda proud of that at time even tho is super known. I pulled off an insidious dreams into this kill a few weeks ago turn 5 and my table was super proud of me. 😂
I'm actually in the process of building the deck myself. I'm a total scrub lord though so I'm going to be using the simpler combos like Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond and the sacky Blood Chief + Mind Crank.
I'll be avoiding the Aetherflux card because I don't own it right now, but yeah.
Living Dead + Gray Merchant is cool too.
Free pyrexian obliterator. Insane. Then there's the doomsday combo in reddit. Possible instant win on turn 1 or 2.

@@NitpickingNerds Doomsday. Infernal contract, sacrifice, mikaeus the unhallowed, viscera seer, walking ballista. All you need is K'rrik on the field and something to make you draw one card. Possible to win turn 1 with the right hand.

Thank you! The plan is to integrate them into the list and have one video make up the ~20 difference since the ones we’ve done will be bumped down, or give them their own video afterwards and explain where they rank.
For the gravecrawler + aetherflux combo you can use carrion feeder which is a free sac engine and a zombie that activates gravecrawler.
Matt Gurnisson carrion feeder is a zombie so it works just with those three cards plus krrik so u can always just pay 2 for the gravecrawler

You can also play the Gary Combo with K‘rrik and Chainer, Dementia Master. Pay 9 Life to get Gary back, drain everyone for 7 at least and gain 21. Need a sac Outlet

During the combo, you have made the mistake to pay 1 life per phyrexian mana rather than two.
Wait a minute phyrexian mana is a broken mechanic that is easily taken advantage of. Does anyone in R&D know this?

Why fleshbag over plaguecrafter?
Ok im kinda new to magic, can somebody explain the gameplan with k'rrik? I'm kinda stupid with magic terms. They gave me a bunch of info on how to get advantages, but i still don't know how to really win. Aside from aetherflux, all of the cards are for gaining health but doesn't really have a solid offensive game with all that health. I have an exquisite blood infinite combo, but besides for that in the creature department i don't see myself building a formidable lineup
We built this deck to be pretty heavily committed to drawing cards, searching for combo pieces, and assembling one of those combos we mentioned. You should be able to do it pretty quickly to the point that creatures don't matter to much. I'd say attacking with creatures is a long shot with this deck for victory it might be plan D or E

Hey I used midnight reaper for a while in another deck found out about grim haruspex. Which turns out is a better version of the reaper so you guys might like the mini upgrade.
We think the reaper is a little better but why not play both?

Jake applegate reaper triggers off himself dying, is the only thing I see is better.
Yeah. How Reaper is better? Zombie and gives card from himself? Damage is in some cases huge setback. Grim even has a Morph.

@@NitpickingNerds so cycling works too. There are a ton of 1 black cycle cards that will also turn into half of a gitaxian probe. And there is street wraith as well...so much consistency. If you can play him turn 1 there is so much of a chance of winning that turn!
Also remember having free card draw in your hand can make a top deck tutor into a to hand tutor!

It could be funny, but the effect is pretty slow and we love extorting our opponents!
@@NitpickingNerds Extort doesn't seem quite as fast as draining all your life and exchanging life totals taking your opponent to 1 in a single turn. These decks all look kind of the same from all the videos. Maybe black/white, give everybody life, then Axis of Mortality, Magus of the Moat, Soul Conduit.

I don't think you can play the extort creatures in mono black because they have a plains symbol in the text box.
The white symbol is actually in the reminder text, which means extort is totally okay in mono white or mono black decks

But you cant have extort, because it has White in the card. If Krrik is your commander, you arent allowed to have white at all in the deck.
Extort exists only in reminder text, meaning it’s fair game to put in your mono white or mono black decks 👍🏻

Your combos are too convoluted. 4 card combos are nearly impossible to pull off without sufficient amount of tutors or tons of draw. The BEST win condition is to have draw in hand/on board + doomsday + draw 4 cards + mikaeus + trisk. This will ping everyone at the table for one. It only requires two cards to win. Doomsday allows you to find them and get them super fast. Downside is it requires a base 9 mana. You have to be cautious of your life total if you are playing super fast because you may burn out if you have been pinged a few times.
Doomsday is very good. Me and beezy dont put in decks top often. This deck is intended to be fun not competitive.
A 4 card combo is not that bad if you have a lot of redundancy and that is pretty easy in an aristocrat deck. The examples they show have a lot of interchangeable parts.
