Thanks for your great video! I have a question and would appreciate your help with it. If the level is completely up and I start pouring water, will the water go down, or will it overflow due to an airlock?
so the brew time for the 58 should be around 20-25 seconds starting when the first drops come out? (plus 10 sec. aprox. of pre infusion... from what I'm seeing)
Hello, Would it be possible to plug the Flair 58 into a smart electrical plug so in the morning I can use my phone to turn the plug on then by the time I go downstairs the Flair 58 will have heated up?
@Flair Espresso Thank you so much I replied to a previous reply. I feel most attracted to the Flair 58. In future correspondence, we can discuss what accessories I will need as well as pricing. Thank you so much for the reply.
My flair 58's lever just comes down smoothly without making any pressure. I don't even need to push it down. It just drops automatically with the gravity. The watery coffee-like liquid come through the filter. I tried over and over again with the different amount of coffee and the different granularity but the result is always the same. Does anyone know why this happens?
It was happened to me, it comes down by itself. The cause is my grinder cannot grind fine enough. So probably you have the same things happens to you. What grinder did you use? And which settings
@@tatsuyatanabe7646 i have tried timemore c3 and it cannot grind fine enough to give resistances. I would suggest you to change your grinder. I changed mine to 1zpresso jx pro, and it worked wonderful, but i think there is many other great grinder as well
You know how you tested with just water with no coffee in the porta filter and water is not dripping? Mine is going fast when i am pulling the lever up

New 58+ owner here ... excellent!
Thanks for your great video! I have a question and would appreciate your help with it. If the level is completely up and I start pouring water, will the water go down, or will it overflow due to an airlock?
Also my portafilter is hitting the lever

all that depends on the amount of coffee to water-brew ratio from what i gather
Love it! 🙏🙏🙏

Hey great vid. Do you have a link to that mirror by any chance?
It's on Flair site.
Is there an advantage of using Pensado or Normcore Portafilters ? Can you use the sprouted ones or it has to be bottomless? Thanks
Aesthetics only. Many aftermarket e61 compatible portafilters should work but we unfortunately do not have a list of all.
How can we get replacement O-rings? Those get the most wear and tear on the 58.
via your dealer, they sell complete sets
one more one question please. Just I'm afraid to do something wrong. Heating 10 - 15 minutes without WATER ? Thank you
Correct. 10-15 m preheat of the brew head using electronics
I just bought the Flare 58X and it had not puck screen with it..did I get ripped off?
What about a fixed screen in the chamber itself? Flairespresso.com/contact is how you can get support if not
Hi how long you recomend to heat?
10m is a good place to start, 15m best
@@FlairEspresso Thank you
What grinder is that? Brand and model
Option O Lagom P64
looks a bit more complicated/trouble than my Flair pro + 16 grams is pretty much a maximum for my espresso. Strong enough for me.
