The Sculk Horde knows all, it grows, it hunts, and it wants to add you to the collective... This mod takes Minecraft's Sculk and makes the Warden look like a teddy bear with Sculk Ravagers, Mites, and the Enderman who will obliterate you with a sonic blast. This mod will consume the entire world unless you fight back... can you survive?

Honestly, the thought of a scenario where, due to an apocalypse, the Overworld is actually far more dangerous than the Nether, thus society was forced to move there, sounds super cool. You’d have to jump into the Overworld to scrounge for supplies before returning to the Nether, instead of the other way around. Maybe the goal could be to fix whatever had happened to the Overworld, or to help build a better Nether civilization, or maybe simply survival?
An idea that has popped into my head is taking a player made pre-built civilization/city and having the Shulk start out and having either one or multiple people try to deal with it, probably increasing its starting mass and capabilites for balance. Basically having a kingdom having to deal with a Medieval Fantasy! Flood. It's something that's tempting enough that I almost want to suggest it to some friends.
I think there's modpacks with this premise as-is, but seeing the premise adapted to Sculk Horde in particular could be really cool.
the only issue with this (if done with the Sculk Horde specifically) is that the Horde can pretty easily hop dimensions if you (or another entity) goes through a portal while burrowed by a mite.

Would be a really cool addition to this mod if villages could defend themselves, and be sort of "hold off" points against the skulk. Eventually they would get taken over, but they would spawn their own defensive units with the purity buff to fight off the horde, and with your help the skulk might retreat to conserve resources, allowing you to make use of a village long term
There are mods that could give you this type of behavior one called "Guard villagers" which spawns armed villagers in armor which protect villages another is "Tightened Village Security" which enhances the behavior of the iron golems and guard villagers and the last one that I know of is "Tax' Angry Villagers" which allows regular villagers to use weapons to fight against mobs and the player if they need to
They can't even take care of themselves agasint themselves with crossbows, do you think they'd fare better against something like this? I would say Pillagers should be the ones fighting stuff off

What would be great, is Pillagers fighting the Skulk alongside you. Like even they realize this thing is so serious they need to drop the shit and help you and the villagers.
I love how you tend to stay out of the nether to give yourself a better challenge, but I did see another playthrough of this mod where someone entered the nether and the sculk started spreading through there too, with a sculk ender dragon and end mod on top of that. I would love to see you take on a sculk nether and and end. Heck, maybe even throw in the other side mod that gives you an entire sculk dimension with those portals in the ancient cities. Your first sculk video was how I discovered your channel, and is easily one of your best ever. Give us more sculk content!

On Tetra: don't bother making anything besides a pick-adze.
Weapons made with Tetra will usually sacrifice swing speed for durability, which becomes irrelevant in the late game.
Vanilla weapons will out-DPS Tetra weapons. There's no point going through it's progression system if you want power. Only do it for tools.

1:56:23 It is day 55. Legundo still hasn't made a Create wrench so he doesn't have to break things to re-order them. I continue my vigil in pained silence.
Edit: It turns out Legundo did not know about the Create wrench. I now switch to pained noises, for I can no longer be silent in the face of this information.

@@Legundo Also another tip for ya, Tetra seems overwhelming at first, but after some time you find out its just a really in-depth way to improve your tools by swapping out the materials of the different parts, the difficult part is dealing with the forge hammer (essentially a large multiblock anvil) to create higher tier hammers and upgrade to the highest possible tool tiers and improvements

Some tips from a create “veteran”:
You can put a gearbox behind the crushing wheels and connect them in the center with a shaft and it makes them spin opposite ways
While it is expensive early game, make a wrench (using three gold sheets, a cog, and a stick) as soon as possible, it allows you to rotate almost all create components (crushing wheels, gearboxes, belts etc.) and instantly destroy and retrieve all create components without taking durability damage
Haunt sand into soul sand, then wash it for minor gold nugget chances, and quartz
Wash gravel for a chance to get iron nuggets, and flint
Crushing gravel with crushing wheels gets you sand
Crushing any raw ore with crushing wheels gets you their crushed variant and nuggets of xp, and you can smelt/blast the crushed ore for ingots, or wash them for 9 nuggets and another drop (like washing crushed raw iron gets you 9 iron nuggets and a 75% chance of redstone dust)
You can connect multiple waterwheels, and for 8 more wood you can double the amount of stress the waterwheel puts out
You can cover cogs with andesite casing, making gear ratios easier and more compact by allowing you to place cogs on top of cogs that would usually break them

The sculk horde mod has a addon for origins that allows the players to work for the sculk so two teams against each other would be fun

@@falconsfeather6970 It's not the Skulker Origins addon you're looking for, as Sculk Horde is Forge only while Skulker Origin is Fabric only. BUT, there is actually the Sculk Commander addon that's directly connected to the Sculk Horde mod and made available for the unofficial Forge port of Origins!

I got to the last mission on legend before my friends mouse stopped working properly (mousepad got wrecked somehow??), and it was 6am, so my team paused until it was sorted out. Last fight though of Icono.. 😅

2) I actually did some testing with the last sculk pack, and I noticed that in my own attempt, it stayed on the surface a lot. I'm not too sure, but I think the initial picking away at the surface in the last one scared the sculk underground at the start. Not too sure on it, but it was definitely an interesting note on how well the sculk actually responds to player activity

at 1:26:33 haunting sand, instead of amethyst, would get you soul sand, which would be washed into quartz and golden nuggets.
tip for those who want to try it i suppose?
Seeing you tackle this mod again, merely 6 months later when you facing the first version of it, says alot that you want revenge on it for not being able to kill the Ancient Node the first time around when you were literally right in front of it, but lack the knowledge to do so
And your tendency to not use every single bit to fight the Sculk is such a waste, in my own personal opinion, but I respect the idea as to why you won't "escape" to another dimension, might be a simple solution but you can make the Nether unbreathable to avoid you escape from the Sculk
A really great video, especially that last bit (and I need to know that last song because it scream "1 vs the world" song there and I'm thrilled), and we'll see you in the next video, with more shenanigans to come 😉

The reactive enchant from the start is an Ars Nouveau enchant and gives the weapon a chance to cast a spell on hit
Note that you have to actually bind a spell to said item first thru the scribe’s table and w any spellbook

I think I know why items sometimes just dont stack, it's something that happens in my modpacks as well, for some reason, items just randomly gain NBT tags, no clue why, no clue how, they just do
Usually I have to just drop all of that item and pick them back up, I’ve noticed holding torches in your offhand and accidentally placing them causes this when you pick them back up. For me it only ever happens with the torches in my offhand, never happens anywhere else and doesn’t happen when I’m not playing on mods 🤷 it’s odd

I also find it funny that the first Sculk Horde video was where you celebrated having 500k subs, the evolved Sculk Horde is where you announce having 600k subs.
And you deserve the subs. You weave a great story and are able to do so much within those 100 days, it rarely felt like there was a dull moment, and I was rooting for you to end the Horde. Another amazing video by you and your editors.
Legundo, the cinema quality.. the narration combined with actual footage chatter.. the way you turn battles and actions into stories for dramatic effect..
And of course the amazing mod that is created.. kudos to the creator(s)..

For the high tier tetra stuff, you'd need to find a structure that only spawns under cold biomes and mountains and locate a forge hammer. Bring a hammer and a prying tool for looting

I’m really loving this new take on a classic scenario! By the way, could I suggest maybe doing a 100 days in a prehistoric world? There’s a lot of great dinosaur and prehistory mods out there that could make for a cool video setting.
Okay, it's funny how the world he played on was being corrupted by both the Sculk *and* the Nether
it'd be cool if you did a mod like this but the rate of expansion doubled at the end of every day. So it was basically you racing to go as far and fast as possible across the world.
So day one it stars off incredibly slow but picks up pace after every day finishes. And ofc the deeper you are in the stronger the creatures. So it'd be a mad race to balance getting armored up and getting materials vs just running for your life.
It kinda already does that. Growth is based on mass to slow to start and then ramping up significantly.
I’m glad the thumbnail was changed. Like, the skulked enderman is absolutely awesome visually, but it was used the last skulk apocalypse video to the point where when I saw this video for the first time I legitimately thought that that one had been reuploaded for some reason

Yes. Add a sculk hydra. It would be so much fun to do a run with the mods iron's spells and spellbooks, epicfight and weapons of miracles. Become powerfull while fighting something powerfull.

Clicked on this video bc it looked interesting, got 30 minutes in before I realized it was THREE HOURS LONG! Which is funny because I was worried about finishing it too soon because I was so captivated by it and I wanted something to watch in the morning as I ate.
I usually don't like the type of survival minecraft videos where they narrate what they did, it's isn't as fun for me to watch, but for some reason this one was different, and I don't really know why, but I love it all the same! Will be checking out more of your stuff.
for the items that wont stack together: try dropping both stacks of items on the ground then picking them up
Not sure if the mod would support it, but I would absolutely love to see some players playing on both teams. Like can you imagine you either choose to purify or join the skulk at the start, and you and your allies have to play strategically in order to take the other out. If you join the skulk your strength is directly proportional to how much skulk is in the world, and as you take over more of the world you can unlock more and more abilities. Maybe even Pillagers could take a more active stance against the skulk, where you get occasional raids where pillagers are focused on destroying patches of skulk, and these raids grow in intensity as you get stronger.

He could have actualy used magic in the very beggining scince ars nouveau was actualy in the modpack and he could have very early on made a magic book

While not having farmer's delight to make amethyst gathering super easy is nice for adding to the modpack's difficulty.
I do think that adding Ars Nouveau detracts a lot of that difficulty too, that spellbook lets you pull off some insane stuff, even with just Projectile-Break.
Not having to endanger oneself and just needing a vantage point looking toward a node to destroy it is simply a benefit too huge for how cheap it is to obtain.
This movie was a masterpiece. I loved every second of it!
