Viewing My Stanford Admissions File | How I Actually Got In

- Hi, everyone! Today, I take a look at my Stanford admissions file, which contains the scores and comments that my applications readers and interviewer gave me. In other words, my admissions file tells me how I got accepted to Stanford in the first place!
Just note that this file doesn't explicitly spell anything out. A lot of information from my application and my readers was reduced to abbreviations and numbers. As such, I had to do some guesswork here and there. Ultimately, a lot of what I say comes from my own speculation. Still, I thought taking a look at my admissions file would be interesting.

Hiii! What do you think was your most important extracurricular and most important award? Was there something that set you apart (internationallly)?
I can't say for certain, but it was probably studying abroad in korea
I’ve worked so hard in my school in terms of community and academics. Yet this year has been crazy with decisions not making any sense. I really hope I get in, they come out in 2 days 😬.

My extracurriculars are impresive (research, worked with World bank, interviewed by UNICEF, school athlete), also my essays are pretty cool and uncommon, but Im worried about my academics, I was top 20% of my class and I dont know if that's good enough, but I graduated with full As in almost everything. Also, I didnt take the SAT and I'm an international student. Do you think I would get into stanford?

@@madinaabdula8251 rejected by Stanford, waitlisted in Uchicago and accepted in some t40, However, I was accepted into medical school at one of the best universities in Latin America, so that's what I'm doing, I'll probably apply for a medical residency in the US!
