- DC Godzilla vs Marvel Godzilla - Who Would Win? In the worlds of Marvel and DC, many concepts are familiar, whether it comes to characters, settings, story arcs, to everything in between. But one of the most recent similarities between both properties came in the form of Big G himself, Godzilla, rampaging his way to fight the Earth's saviors. Many decades before, Marvel Comics heroes had also faced off against the majestic, atomic lizard. Both iterations of this beast are mighty powerful, but if they were to face off against each other, who would come out on top? The Godzilla who defeated the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, or the Godzilla who nearly killed Superman himself? How strong is Marvel Godzilla? How strong is DC Godzilla? Find out the answers to these questions and much more as I go in depth over their power, speed, and accolades to determine a victor!

Then Talk no Jutsu won’t work on Ichmonji Hayato-Kamen Rider Nigo. He used happy-go guy, but the dude was tortured and experimented into a cyborg by literally Unit 731 and Nazi henchmen, the Dai-Shocker. It only took Takeshi Hongo-Kamen Rider Ichigo to slap some sense into him that his utilitarian action and vengeance has kills many bystanders and is no different than the people who made him.

Arguably the most powerful fictional characters ever are from comic books, only rivaled by very specific anime/manga series and SCP. And also Lovecraft’s work to some extent.

I feel like DC Godzilla would win if we take a statement made apparently by the writer seriously where he that this version of the justice league is just as strong as the normal ones but if we don’t include that then Marvel Godzilla would win.

If this dc superman is equal to at least post crisis superman, then that should automatically make dc Godzilla stronger than marvel’s Godzilla, as post crisis superman has canonically overpowered Thor, who was equal in strength to marvel’s Godzilla.

That crossover isn't canon. And Superman barely defeated Thor in that crossover. So not enough to say he's any stronger than Thor.
@@AlessandroMarques95 superman outright caught Thor’s hammer and knocked him out, and literally right after that he made Hercule’s mace chip and damage itself while Hercules was attacking superman (herc is Thor’s equal and his weapon has clashed with mjolnir multiple times). In addition to that, he also endured attacks from a mother box amped iron man, wonder man and ms marvel along with she hulk. Even after ALL of that, he showed NO signs of external damage, apart from being knocked out for a small period of time, unlike Thor.
It’s canon, the events in jla/avengers are outright used as explanations for some of the further plots of dc. The official marvel’s handbook mentions jla/avengers many, many times, and a canon Thor comic literally shows both superman and Wonder Woman as wielders of mjolnir.
@@basimali619 he stopped one attack from Thor while clearly struggling to do so. Superman was nearly out after he knocked him out and was easily taken down by the rest of the avengers team. Superman himself said Thor might be the strongest foe he ever fought against.

The winner is marvel, Godzilla, why because that fight was actually Cannon. That’s canon Godzilla versus the canon avengers. The Godzilla that fought the justice league was a nerf justice league with a BUFF Godzilla. They said that he was radiating kryptonite radiation that screams 😂😂😂buffed
You have to remember that isn’t a buff Godzilla has the power of adaption to a certain extent so it’s not unlikely he’d gain that ability if needed, he can literally change his dna for the exact reason.

He's protected from being beaten in real time/on screen. You cannot show him losing a fight, you can however show him defeated in aftermath. So long as you have him either being ganged up on, running a gauntlet, or removed from a battle, you can show him losing. You CANNOT have Godzilla lose a 1v1 on screen under any circumstances against a Western character. Even his own series follows this by making the fights under the premise of "Godzilla did not lose, he was just not expectng the enemy to be able to do that. Now that he is aware of it, he will win hands down." This is why it shows in the comics Godzilla never facing off 1v1 against anyone, it's always, he fights one person, someone else hears about it and immediately show up before the first fight is even done, whether or not it's decidedly over. The closest this was done was Fighting against Zeus because he was wreaking havoc on the pantheon.

i like the DC version more. purely because he looks more like Godzilla. the Marvel version looks like a cheap "Godzilla" knockoff
Marvel is basically showa Godzilla with a much larger head and smaller dorsal plates, dc Godzilla is based on legendary.

@@strider_hiryu850 yes, but he kinda had a green tint. Plus, this is literally marvel, these guys had beef with the color grey in their early days. The hulk was originally supposed to be ALWAYS grey from the start as a base, but due to inking problems for the grey color they had to turn him green.

Where is Kongs name in this video? If were going by head canon (the scaling the way godzilla was done in this video)
We can say that Kong is almost on par w Godzilla seeing how he knocked em out for a moment only to realize hes being dragged by the tail.

If it were up to me, this debate would really hinge on if we take the “DC Godzilla fought a Superman who is just as strong as mainline Comic Supes” as it is. If we do, its a very competitive matchup but DC Godzilla might have the edge. If not, Marvel Godzilla definitely stomps.

Just starting, but initial bets on DC Goji since both DC and Marvel characters have gotten stronger over the years and both verses being fairly equal in terms of power with DC Goji having fought the modern day version of these characters
As a Godzilla fan all I see is Godzilla, and personally I think it is a great honour and respect that a character that is pretty much just an animal, is considered to being sized up to these legendary heroes of manga, DC, Marvel, and other power house mediums, LONG LIVE THE KING OF THE MONSTERS! thank you for the video. 🙏❤️

This crossover reminds me of the situations of Mario + Rabbids and The SMB Movie. I consider these as AT’s, as they disregard the logical mainline timeline, but have accurate strength depictions (The SMB Movie might be less than an AT though, since the origins could be changed, but still accurate strengths). In this comic, it seems the titans are fairly accurate except for the debate on whether the JL is too strong for them. But also, it has added abilities, like the possibility that Camazotz can survive after getting shot in the eye and that there could be even bigger Skullcrawlers (Idk the details on that new Skullcrawler, can you explain to me where it came from?).

Which Burning Godzilla you refer, Heisei or MonsterVerse (Thermonuclear)? Still, both Burnings are NOWHERE AS STRONG AS DC Godzilla. Heisei´s best scaling stops at Low Complex Multiversal, while MV stops at Solar System. Currently, the strongest Godzillas are Marvel, DC, Ultima (from the novel) and perhaps (PERHAPS!), In Hell.
The Skull Crawler is actually Ramarak, who was ressurected by Ra's al Ghul´s clan using the Lazarus Pit, making her bigger and stronger than before (before you ask, yes, Ramarak is a female). This form of her isn´t canon to the MonsterVerse, so the strongest Skull Crawler canon-wise is still Number 10.

@@Sean-qg3gg Outerversal means outside of the absolute concepts of time and space, or more commonly, beyond dimensions. IT´S WAY HIGHER THAN HYPERVERSAL AND MULTIVERSAL.
MV is consistently at Dwarf to Small Star level due to scaling it from Mechagodzilla´s Proton Scream, which according to Apex´s files is 2000 times stronger than Godzilla´s Atomic Breath during GvK, where his Hollow Earth feat is calculated to Planetary. Taking consideration that Wingard said that Godzilla at full power is stronger than Mecha (multiply the Hollow Earth feat by 2000), then multiply him by 20 due to the Evolved form, then he reaches to Dwarf Star levels of power (Solar System if you include outside statements and Monarch´s series).
Godzilla Earth is Solar System level. His best feat was destroy Void Ghidorah´s black holes, which are calculated to that level. Outside this one and Gorath´s feat, the rest of him is pretty meh.

We see in the Power Rangers X Godzilla comic that the Godzilla Multiverse and PR Multiverse are interwoven. We also know they are interwoven with DC and Marvel and you can expand that out to other brands.
It makes me question how interwoven Multiverses work. Because Marvel, DC, and even PR have had Multiverse ending events and it makes we wonder do those events also affect the over verse connected via the Multiverse. (Obviously editorial wise no but in lore how does that work.) Like when the PR Multiverse dies and reboot, technically speaking doesn't that effect DC and Godzilla because they are connected.

Here's the thing, the dc godzilla is basically just legendary's version of Godzilla(not just the look, but behavior anf having kong who looks like a in-between of kvg and kxg), meanwhile Marvel's godzilla is 4th tallest Godzilla to exist(could be wrong). I do think that Marvel's godzilla definitely has better reaction speed and better speed. But if dc's Godzilla is the same has legendary's, then it would probably win.

Honestly Marvel Godzilla. He’s outright canon to the main marvel universe and fought and beat characters that have outerversal feats while DC Godzilla could arguably be fighting country to outer level beings with stuff not being as concrete as marvel

It’s definitely really close but I think if it was a match to he death with no outside factors or help I think Marvel would take the win.
Though if they were to meet I feel like a battle between them won’t be fatal and eventually they would stop and team up for whatever reason in crossover fashion! I think it would be much cooler to see them working together!

Going with Marvel Godzilla, there’s even a scan that says the house of ideas sent. It’s best heroes to stop them and if you know how saying that house of ideas is then you know that’s a good one for marvel.
Another crazy feat is supes breaking through hypertime, which is beyond the multi and omniverse.

Never stated in the comic and the person who stated he was a god wasn't even the writer of the comic. I've covered this in my godzilla ranking video.
