1:28 to 1:56 sounds like a slightly slower version of Flightcastle from Unreal 1 - play that part at 1.5 speed and the resemblance is almost uncanny

Absolutely...this was my favourite track, cause my favourite map in ctf was Gauntlet, and my favourite map in Dm was Codex, both with this track...and it's amazing...UT...best game ever ,)

It was written for AS-Overlord, which suppose to imitate World War II Operation Overlord in Normandy. So yes absolutely.

I still hearing the bullets ricochet on the beach sand
I remember, that when I played assault on Frigate, I could feel cc. how much time we still have, or have to defend. Such a good music, with different parts.
For example, if I attacked I hated to hear that "ringing like sound" :D

Me and my bro played this game a lot when we were kids... and one day, we just couldn't stop laughing from bots taunts (which are random quotes btw)

and we just lost it at this moment!
We are french btw, so, I dunno if it's funnier cuz of FR voices or not, but i'm still rememoring this moment sometimes with a smile.. Good old times!

The map where people learned all sort of intricate ways to skip the floors with hammer jump and rocket launcher!

I used this song for a big damn commando mission in our D&D game and it was so freakin' awesome.

The truly incredible thing about this track is that there are at least three other tunes from UT 99 that are about as good. Room of Champions, Mechanism Eight, and Dream Tear Down are equally incredible in their own way!

SaviourV I actually trusted wikipedia with the name of the artist for each song and while yes, it might not always be the most trustworthy source I had my reasons to believe the article was correct. But since you asked I checked it myself nevertheless.
