- Using Motion 5, Blender, Final Cut Pro X, Garageband and iMovie to create a futuristic HUD / sci fi computer screen / telemetry readout.... Some of the sound effects are from the opening scene in the movie 'Alien' when the computer boots up, very cool sounds, hard to create (for me at least)... Just used this as an editing exercise

I build a "spaceship" for my neighbours kids, made of all the metal and garden equipment plus an old typerwiter, a rowing machine and some LED. Thank you very much for this funny little video, I will display it with my old tablet in the "Cockpit" :-)

The fonts are a combination of ... MKOCR...Modern Destronic...Giedi Predacon...Data Control...Data Control Uniform...Ayuthaya...Euphemia UCAS... I just did a Google search for alien fonts, Sci Fi fonts and picked what looked like it might work...

where did you get your sound effects?
I watched and recorded the opening scene from the movie 'Alien', right before everyone wakes up, there is a scene with the computer booting up with all the computer 'beeps' and 'clacking' noises... I tried to recreate them in garageband on my iMac but nothing sounded right, so I used the sound FX from the movie plus some other free sound FX I found on the web, the background noise is an Apple sound effect in iMovie. I always liked that sound effect from Alien but found them very hard to create myself, so I am working on that to incorporate them into another video, so far I have a few sounds but it is not easy at all... The original sounds are very cool .... Thanks for the comment !

Thanks for the comment... The readouts are sorta, kinda, representing a scan or review of the operations of the images. Otherwise they don't mean anything, I just made them up to create a cool looking video in my spare time... seems to be a popular feed...

Awesome sounds truly. But WHY does every one who makes these video have a droning background sound? Kinda defeats the purpose for me to download and splice the sounds I want.
I don't know why the droning in the background is really a bad move... I just wanted it to appear, and sound, like a futuristic spaceship computer screen inside a futuristic spaceship, thus the droning (background) sounds... Hint: download the video, delete the sound I added, add your own... Anyway, thanks for watching...
