Due to low demand of Citybus route 71, it has been decided to convert that route to only peak hours only on Mondays to Saturdays (except Public Holidays). Meanwhile, New World First Bus route 4 would be extended to Wong Chuk Hang. Bravobus has also added Bus to Bus interchange for routes 7 and 48 but route 4 would make it a bit unnecessary.
Some photos and videos, I have tried a new camera that I have just bought and I tested it for this video. During the route recording, I have just used my phone as it was easier to manage recording. I decided to film downstairs to not have similar content as other CZcamsrs.
NWFB route 4 has lost its circular operation except during the mornings (except Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays). The route would start from Central (Exchange Square) then run normally from Hang Seng Bank in Central all the way to Wah Fu. Then, the route follows the same route and stops as route 71 from Tin Wan. The fare remained the same ($6.1) which means that route 4 would be the cheapest bus route from Central to Aberdeen (via Pok Fu Lam).
The driver seemed to talk a lot and make gestures and sometimes some pointing (Japanese bus driver?). At some stops where there are a lot of elderly people, the driver would not move until they have sat down. Some people were confused about the routing. Most people got off in Wah Fu and Aberdeen. Not much people got off in Wong Chuk Hang. During the whole journey, only three bus fans (including me) have got on.

It will be better for people living in Sai Ying Pun to get to Ocean Park, although it is a 10 minute walk from the bus terminus at Wong Chuk Hang.
