Marcos Vinicius Oliveira de Almeida is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Rodrigo Cavaca. He is a 7 time IBJJF world champion and 2 time no-gi champion. Most of his world championship winnings are not only in his weight class, but also in absolute. He is also a 2 time ADCC champion. He is associated with team Checkmat BJJ. Marcus Almeida is known for his explosive style. He has a well rounded game with strong takedowns.
