Skz have a consistent concept they're going for. Maniac is them telling the world they're weird and proud, Circus is an extension of the "crazy" vibe, and now it's a Maxident bc they're crazy in love. It's no surprise the three songs have similar vibes and tones.

The maxident is that we're in love" (paraphrased) It kind of gave me "crazy in love" vibes which makes a lot of sense thematically with maniac and circus. 🥰

Cause SKZ is in charge of their own music and they have a consistent concept, so the songs are made to go together in a sense. But a lot of bands/singers/groups have songs that sound similar in some way to other songs of theirs, and that’s cause musicians find their sound and go with it.
I also thought there were some elements of "CHEESE" in there. its the sign of a group that makes there own music which im fine with because its different enough to be a different song but has the stamps of SKZ or rather stamps of 3Racha that make it really personal and helps in what makes them such a close knit group compared to so many others imo. this comeback is very signature SKZ imo so maybe thats also why it has so many elements of other songs. They had the massive success of Maniac and the world tour so releasing a song that kind of combines the bets of SKZ was also smart. they so great at doing harder concepts but they're also so cuddly and adorable so combining that into this comeback was genius. I love that for them.
I do feel like this is intentional, including both the similarities to maniac and circus. It wouldn't be the first time skz has made songs that "come in threes" (ie back door, god's menu, and thunderous) which all have a similar yet slightly different vibe and theme
Bruh these types of things simultaneously drive me crazy and could be really cool if utilized, having a song stuck in your head but you don't remember the full thing or it just starts blending the song into other songs that sound similar. I could have quite a few mashups posted if I was so inclined lol.
