As you mention about the concrete roof. I can't help thinking about the story of the three little pigs with the straw house, the wood house, and the brick house. Sometimes these simple things that amuse us are really teaching us valuable lessons. My country Jamaica has it worse. Prayers.
I personally don’t like concrete roofs concrete house holds in heat in the daytime and let it go in the evening and when concrete heats up it produces carbon dioxide that is why I feel uncomfortable living in them I have a board house and I am cool day and night

Why, when you build houses, you don't build them with concrete . Not galvanise or wood. May cost more, but in the long run, it's worth it. Safety is more important.
