It's cool if that's the meaning, but lactose-intolerant ppl can't actually eat parmesan, blue cheese and cheddar... Those are all made with cow's milk, which has the highest amount of lactose. Goat cheese is a little better, but sheep is preferable for lactose-intolerant ppl. (Sorry, my mom is lactose intolerant, so I had to learn about this sort of stuff)

I'm sure someone will explain this more thoroughly later, but Red Lights by Bangchan and Hyunjin is a song about obsession and compulsion. In particular, about their extreme need for perfection in their work, as both Bangchan and Hyunjin are extraordinarily hard workers. The intensity of the video is supposed to show the love-hate relationship that comes with perfectionism. Plus, the MV is damn sexy lol. I'm pretty sure most of us were in shock after watching it 😅

That drive used driving as a metaphor for s*x but red lights uses s*x as a metaphor for ocd and inner demons. the thing people analyzed as him talking bout edging, was him explaining the musical cliffhanger when you expect him to say "..geol", but he doesn't. So it is meant to be MUSICALLY satisfying. And yeah, we're sure, because they explained it in detail during the 3rd "howl in harmony" episode. I know people often mean it as a joke, but calling Chan a "liar" (not saying you are one, just trying to clarify) while explaining the concept really has gone out of hand. He didn't lie. Of course everyone's entitled to their own interpretation of a song. But their intent was made very clear.

Red Lights - in their series, howl in harmony, where each unit talked and conceptualized their songs and m/vs, hyunjin and chan was sitting in corner of a sauna room pool and giggled while talking about how to end stays. :D they really wanted to do a sexy concept but the lyrics and the concept run deeper than what you see on the surface. The direct translation of the korean title 강박 (kangbak) is compulsion and talks about their borderline obsession with their work. Like they shared how during breaks they feel the need to make tracks still to the point where they'll just walk around and realized their feet have brought them to the studio. I'm not sure how they made the units, but i think they separated 3racha so that they have a chance to work with other members and other members have a chance to have more hand on the unit songs. Han was teamed up with vocalracha, changbin with two of the danceracha, and chan was teamed up with hyunjin since hyunjin is another member of stray kids that is still learning how to produce songs. Yes, Hyunjin is a main dancer and he has been chosen as this month's AOTM for Studio Choom. He's also lead rapper and sub vocalist of the group. Have you heard his high notes in Red Lights? 🥰 But the most interesting part about him is that he had never practiced dancing before he has been street casted by a Jype employee when he was shopping. He had been training dancing only for a 1,5 year before debuting with Stray Kids as the MAIN dancer. At first he was so bad and inexperienced at dancing that others scolded him and laughted at him when he kept saying that he want to debut as a main dancer. They kept saying he will debut just because he is pretty so he was working twice as hard to prove them wrong and now he became one of the best dancers in the industry, his fancams have millions of views (8 mln views for Psycho fancam for example). He is known for his hard work, dancing became his greatest passion and he even choreographed two dance covers by himself. He is so young yet he menaged to create his own style of dancing already and lately he started to write and compose songs. This song he made with Chan is about perfectionism and compulsion of workaholism. Him and Chan are the biggest hardworkers and perfectionist in the group so they could've captured it perfectly. You need to watch some of their crack videos to understand that they are all goofballs and have on and off camera personas. When I first started watching SKZ videos I was just vibing to the music but it’s when I started watching their crack videos that I fell in love with them. They are a close family, they take care of each other and love skinship. They are know for their lyrical writing, almost everything they write has a double meaning, and includes inside jokes that only stays understand.
Felix is naturally a nice, bubbly, kind person and the dark high impact person just for MVs and performances but naturally he isn't like that and all of stray kids baby him
The one in Surfin that you mentioned have good voice is Lee Know their main dancer (another flex of Stays) he really has a great singing voice. Also if you got surprised with Han's voice, wait until you hear Changbin sings.. Him & Han had guested on Mask Singer.. Changbin's voice-chef's kiss. Hyunjin is also one of the main dancer they are part of Danceracha together w/ Felix & Lee Know. Isn't it amazing how can they be so diverse & ingenious with all their music and the fact that they all participate into writing their own songs is amazing. Yet haters always tries to discredit all their talents & efforts and always call them noisy & such with a few songs they've heard. (it's a series where stray kids will release something for stays. we are crazy spoiled lol). Play With Fire and when the party is over are his solos. Hyunjin choreographed his solos and the others are with danceracha (the dance subunit comprising of Lee Know, Felix, and Hyunjin). i promise you won't regret it! to see more of Lee Knows (the one with Changbin and Felix) vocal ability you should watch Laventer, Sorry I Like You, and Secret Secret. Lee Know is the Dance Leader of the group and takes a big role in their choreography. he really has a buttery voice and melts your heart in an instance. i can go on and on about these boys. Girl, i love your reactions! This was a roller coaster ride! WE VIBE WITH YOUR CONFUSION HAHA. Cheese is an intelligently-written song, it doesn't explicitly diss but you 'feel' dissed (if that makes sense). Surfin' is really refreshing and cute, the lyrics are very good advice for those who work hard. Gone Away felt like a whole drama series of hopeless love, and the vocals + acting tugged the heartsrings. Red Lights is a wisely-expressed song about internal conflict (OCD, fear of not being perfect or productive, the constant need to work hard) and the musical arrangement + choreo is brilliant. YES, WE AGREE WITH YOU ON ALL THESE.
I personally think Red Lights is about a a single person with a 'split personality '. If you go back and watch it, Bang Chan and Hyunjin dance moves mirror each other and when one is tied up, the other isn't or they are both fighting to get out at the same time. Plus if you watch the beginning and the end of the video, their is a person kneeled down in the middle while they are fighting on either side of him. At least that what I think and your reaction was pretty priceless!
There're these song camp episodes on stray kids yt channel. They show the process of making these 3 unit songs. From the beat, the lyrics, the ideas and the mv making. There are 5 episodes. 3 episodes for the 3 units coming up with ideas, melodies and lyrics. Next 2 episodes is each unit reaction to each other songs,their meeting with the director to tell how they want the mv to looks like and behind the scenes of mv making.
Han Jisung (3racha) you may hear it both ways lol and I.N his actual name is Yang Jeong-in so stage is I.N , the other is Kim Seungmin ;). So the second voice and you were like who is... well that was Han lol. You'll notice each "unit" chose a motif we had fun (surfin'), Sad (gone away) and sexy (red lights). Each unit was given the track and they wrote the lyrics together. You can watch the episodes of "Song Camp" and watch the "brain storming" . Acting is excellent but in song camp Seungmin talked briefly about how he's been through unrequited love it was actually his idea to do a song about it cause SKZ hadnt done that before. Now this song it punches straight to the heart cause I think every person has been through it, Hans voice on top of the visual Fuuuuu*k. vocally Han and Chan are top to me. This song def a kick in the feels.
After listening to the whole album multiple times, I've come to the conclusion that Red Lights is my favorite song in it. So good. Also, the guy you asked the name of is Lee Know / Lee Minho! He has improved so so much ever since their debut! It's great to see people recognizing his vocals now 🥺
Felix known as "sunshine" in whole sector, he's a cutiepie, he loves baking, hugging and kissing his members, and he's an amazing person, he cares about us a lot, at first everyone recognise him because of his deep voice but when you know him you'll see the baby side of him. I really like Gone Away, the feelings are so intense, you can literally see in their eyes which is also amazing. Their vocals are another level, lyrics are achingly beautiful, it's just a masterpiece. And for Red Lights, yeah bangchan and hyunjin are like this sometimes so keep going i guess????? I can't defend them in this one we have literally zero explanation im still shocked that I saw my idol being tied in a bed with chairs BY MY ANOTHER IDOL, like hello ?????????? Hyunjin was told he would have no issue succeeding because of his good looks and took it really personally. He put himself through as much training as he could to master dancing and vocal techniques the other boys can't do, or can't do as well. He's part of the dance line (DanceRacha) but he's not THE dancer of the group.
All those songs were so good! And such different meanings. Red Lights is mainly focusing on those obsessive kind of relationships and emotions that have a kind of “choke hold” on you. You know it’s not good for you but you can’t sleep you can’t do anything but obsess over the relationship/ feelings. Also yes Hyunjin did go to extra schooling for dance. And Gone Away breaks my heart every time.

The sub units vary all the time. They like to play around with different combos. Which i love. There is of course the classic 3Racha. and DanceRacha .. but I totally love when bangchan and Lee know did Drive together.
I'm sure others in the comments have told you by now, but the one whose voice you liked in Surfin' was Lee Know. You mentioned wanting to hear more examples of his singing, so I'm here (several months later) to tell you that on Stray Kids' newest album (Oddinary) they released two more unit songs, and one of them, "Waiting For Us," is a very vocal-heavy song, sung by Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N. So if you're interested in hearing more of Lee Know's (and others') vocals, that'd be a good one to check out :)

To add to your amazement of han singing.. basically all of stray kids can rap and sing.. han is an ace as he, like you said, can sing like THAT and raps and writes the lyrics and produces and dances and just he's an all rounder... But also.. seungmin, the one in the beginning of gone away.. he's an amazing vocalist yet when given the chance his rap is almost at the same level as the rappers. This is proven when he rapped Runner's high and when Han wasn't feeling well and missed a few of their performances, seungmin took on his rap part in thunderous and did amazingly well
You got confused in the surfin MV because of Felix, but his personality is actually quite sweet When you talked about his freckles, yes, he has freckles!!! See pictures of him without makeup, it's really beautiful

If you want to get to know the members while also learning their names and faces you can watch their vlogs. Their vlogs are made when they bring a camera with them for a day or a period of time and just kind of pretend they're talking or hanging out with their fans or showing them what they're up to during a break or their busy schedule. So usually it's only one member, but they like to hang out with one or two of the others so it's not like you'll have to try to keep track of all 8. They're a really fun and unique group and I hope to see more reactions in the future because I'm loving yours!!

In particular, about their extreme need for perfection in their work, as both Bangchan and Hyunjin are extraordinarily hard workers. The intensity of the video is supposed to show the love-hate relationship that comes with perfectionism. Plus, the MV is damn sexy lol. I'm pretty sure most of us were in shock after watching it 😅

So it is meant to be MUSICALLY satisfying. And yeah, we're sure, because they explained it in detail during the 3rd "howl in harmony" episode. Surfin' - Our felix is actually known to be the sunshine and our haengbokie (happiness in korean), so it really comes as a shock and kind of confusing when the first time you encounter felix (in an m/v or performance) he has this strong aura but when he's away from the cameras and stage he's so soft and you just wanna protect him. Also yes, changbin did sing in surfn too! and it's lee know's voice that you like. Gone Away - when they conceptualize this song, they wanted it to be a ballad so their vocals can stand out and somehow they talked about unrequited love and how the memories of you have with the person are important to you but then you realize its just you who count them memorable because the other person doesnt notice at all. it's really a heartbreaking song and i think they really expressed the emotion well in their lyrics.
Red Lights - in their series, howl in harmony, where each unit talked and conceptualized their songs and m/vs, hyunjin and chan was sitting in corner of a sauna room pool and giggled while talking about how to end stays. :D they really wanted to do a sexy concept but the lyrics and the concept run deeper than what you see on the surface. The direct translation of the korean title 강박 (kangbak) is compulsion and talks about their borderline obsession with their work. Like they shared how during breaks they feel the need to make tracks still to the point where they'll just walk around and realized their feet have brought them to the studio.
I'm not sure how they made the units, but i think they separated 3racha so that they have a chance to work with other members and other members have a chance to have more hand on the unit songs. Han was teamed up with vocalracha, changbin with two of the danceracha, and chan was teamed up with hyunjin since hyunjin is another member of stray kids that is still learning how to produce songs.
I really love how you really look into details when reacting! cause there's really a lot to unbox in all of stray kids songs, like you can take it as it is or you can dive a little deeper and both are beautiful in their own way. it just connects differently when you look into their lyrics and the story of the video.

Yes, Hyunjin is a main dancer and he has been chosen as this month's AOTM for Studio Choom. He's also lead rapper and sub vocalist of the group. Have you heard his high notes in Red Lights? 🥰 But the most interesting part about him is that he had never practiced dancing before he has been street casted by a Jype employee when he was shopping. He had been training dancing only for a 1,5 year before debuting with Stray Kids as the MAIN dancer. At first he was so bad and inexperienced at dancing that others scolded him and laughted at him when he kept saying that he want to debut as a main dancer. They kept saying he will debut just because he is pretty so he was working twice as hard to prove them wrong and now he became one of the best dancers in the industry, his fancams have millions of views (8 mln views for Psycho fancam for example). He is known for his hard work, dancing became his greatest passion and he even choreographed two dance covers by himself. He is so young yet he menaged to create his own style of dancing already and lately he started to write and compose songs. This song he made with Chan is about perfectionism and compulsion of workaholism. Him and Chan are the biggest hardworkers and perfectionist in the group so they could've captured it perfectly. You need to watch some of their crack videos to understand that they are all goofballs and have on and off camera personas. When I first started watching SKZ videos I was just vibing to the music but it’s when I started watching their crack videos that I fell in love with them. They are a close family, they take care of each other and love skinship. They are know for their lyrical writing, almost everything they write has a double meaning, and includes inside jokes that only stays understand.
Felix is naturally a nice, bubbly, kind person and the dark high impact person just for MVs and performances but naturally he isn't like that and all of stray kids baby him

(it's a series where stray kids will release something for stays. we are crazy spoiled lol). Play With Fire and when the party is over are his solos. Hyunjin choreographed his solos and the others are with danceracha (the dance subunit comprising of Lee Know, Felix, and Hyunjin). i promise you won't regret it!
to see more of Lee Knows (the one with Changbin and Felix) vocal ability you should watch Laventer, Sorry I Like You, and Secret Secret. Lee Know is the Dance Leader of the group and takes a big role in their choreography. he really has a buttery voice and melts your heart in an instance.

Girl, i love your reactions! This was a roller coaster ride! WE VIBE WITH YOUR CONFUSION HAHA. Cheese is an intelligently-written song, it doesn't explicitly diss but you 'feel' dissed (if that makes sense). Surfin' is really refreshing and cute, the lyrics are very good advice for those who work hard. Gone Away felt like a whole drama series of hopeless love, and the vocals + acting tugged the heartsrings. Red Lights is a wisely-expressed song about internal conflict (OCD, fear of not being perfect or productive, the constant need to work hard) and the musical arrangement + choreo is brilliant. YES, WE AGREE WITH YOU ON ALL THESE.

I personally think Red Lights is about a a single person with a 'split personality '. If you go back and watch it, Bang Chan and Hyunjin dance moves mirror each other and when one is tied up, the other isn't or they are both fighting to get out at the same time. Plus if you watch the beginning and the end of the video, their is a person kneeled down in the middle while they are fighting on either side of him. At least that what I think and your reaction was pretty priceless!

There're these song camp episodes on stray kids yt channel. They show the process of making these 3 unit songs. From the beat, the lyrics, the ideas and the mv making. There are 5 episodes. 3 episodes for the 3 units coming up with ideas, melodies and lyrics. Next 2 episodes is each unit reaction to each other songs,their meeting with the director to tell how they want the mv to looks like and behind the scenes of mv making.

Han Jisung (3racha) you may hear it both ways lol and I.N his actual name is Yang Jeong-in so stage is I.N , the other is Kim Seungmin ;). So the second voice and you were like who is... well that was Han lol. You'll notice each "unit" chose a motif we had fun (surfin'), Sad (gone away) and sexy (red lights). Each unit was given the track and they wrote the lyrics together. You can watch the episodes of "Song Camp" and watch the "brain storming" . Acting is excellent but in song camp Seungmin talked briefly about how he's been through unrequited love it was actually his idea to do a song about it cause SKZ hadnt done that before. Now this song it punches straight to the heart cause I think every person has been through it, Hans voice on top of the visual Fuuuuu*k. vocally Han and Chan are top to me. This song def a kick in the feels.
After listening to the whole album multiple times, I've come to the conclusion that Red Lights is my favorite song in it. So good.

Felix known as "sunshine" in whole sector, he's a cutiepie, he loves baking, hugging and kissing his members, and he's an amazing person, he cares about us a lot, at first everyone recognise him because of his deep voice but when you know him you'll see the baby side of him. I really like Gone Away, the feelings are so intense, you can literally see in their eyes which is also amazing. Hyunjin was told he would have no issue succeeding because of his good looks and took it really personally. He put himself through as much training as he could to master dancing and vocal techniques the other boys can't do, or can't do as well. He's part of the dance line (DanceRacha) but he's not THE dancer of the group.
All those songs were so good! And such different meanings. Red Lights is mainly focusing on those obsessive kind of relationships and emotions that have a kind of “choke hold” on you. You know it’s not good for you but you can’t sleep you can’t do anything but obsess over the relationship/ feelings. Also yes Hyunjin did go to extra schooling for dance. And Gone Away breaks my heart every time.

The sub units vary all the time. They like to play around with different combos. Which i love. There is of course the classic 3Racha. and DanceRacha .. but I totally love when bangchan and Lee know did Drive together.
I'm sure others in the comments have told you by now, but the one whose voice you liked in Surfin' was Lee Know. You mentioned wanting to hear more examples of his singing, so I'm here (several months later) to tell you that on Stray Kids' newest album (Oddinary) they released two more unit songs, and one of them, "Waiting For Us," is a very vocal-heavy song, sung by Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N. So if you're interested in hearing more of Lee Know's (and others') vocals, that'd be a good one to check out :)

Someone has probably mentioned that yes Hyunjin is a main dancer, part of Danceracha. He has also done choreography, you can see his self choreographed dance videos Play with Fire and When the Party’s Over. Lee Know has also released Dawn. Danceracha also has a new video with Etro clothing. I highly suggest checking them out, they are fantastic

To add to your amazement of han singing.. basically all of stray kids can rap and sing.. han is an ace as he, like you said, can sing like THAT and raps and writes the lyrics and produces and dances and just he's an all rounder... But also.. seungmin, the one in the beginning of gone away.. he's an amazing vocalist yet when given the chance his rap is almost at the same level as the rappers. This is proven when he rapped Runner's high and when Han wasn't feeling well and missed a few of their performances, seungmin took on his rap part in thunderous and did amazingly well

SURFIN- Lee know, Changbin, Felix they are actually a unit in pre debut day they're teams name before is glow. Well they wanted to team up with each other because they all want to make a refreshing summer vibes song.
Red lights-Bang Chan, Hyunjin of course our sexiest team, they wanted to make a sexy RnB type of song together because that was like their plan eversince they keep in mentioning it even before that they really wanna team up together to do this type of song.
Also, I can you will more mind blown to know all of them can sing, rap, dance and produce.
