The kid saying “This is awesome!” as the ride starting going backwards is what I love the most about going to Disney. The attractions are great, but seeing and hearing the kids’ reactions are the best!
I loved this ride. I just went on as many times as possible, it never gets old. I miss Animal Kingdom. :(
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews i
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews I didn't see his ride when me and my family were there
i was there a week ago 🙃i went on 6 times in a row ate and went again
I went on this with my mom a couple of years ago because at first she didn't think it was to bad then we got to the broken track and she thought it was actually broken then we went backwards and she screamed so loud
Julia Nicole lol
Lol
It's so interesting how you see all these different interpretations of the Yeti and then you see the Yeti himself but not before hearing him and seeing his shadow on the wall, so by that point you probably have a bunch of crazy ideas zooming through your head.
Riding this was the adventure of a lifetime!
This is literally the best ride ever
Top Tip:
USE SINGLE RIDER LINE!!
I rode 7 times one day with maybe a total of 60 minutes in line!
I'm so glad you looked over the edge going up the mountain :3 It really is a nice view from up there.
I really love how you can hear the father and son banter through the whole video. Shows that a child's imagination will never cease :)
For anyone who is scared of going on this ride.
Just know, I was downright terrified of this my first time when I went on it, just don't think about going just do it that's what I did and I loved it.
Just a fair warning though it is very fast and has steep drops but of you think you can handle that just go for it

The Complete Opposite Of What I Was Thinking When I Rode This Ride, I Thought I Was Going To Die
Lol, Not Anymore
I was screaming "holy ****" at the top of my lungs during the backwards part. lmao. Wish I was as brave as that kid :)
The Doctor has
The Doctor I
The Doctor square j m.
I was screaming “Is this supposed to happen?!?!” At the top of my lungs
This is my fav ride at WDW‼️ It's the best!!!
I've been on that ride it was fun if you ever go to Disney world anyone go on that ride!!
I rode this 5 times it’s still my favorite animal kingdom ride
Amazing footage! I felt like I was there, what camera do you use?
Nancy Meow IIRC it was an NX70U. video.sharpproductions.tv/cameras
Nancy Meow op
Nancy Meow my closest guess is probably a GoPro
This ride was by far my favorite ride. My nine year old brother loved it. If you get a chance it is definitely worth the wait
Love watching these videos, usually because I know I'll never get to go. Still fun to watch.
One of the best rides at Disney World
It's always the best when repeat riders mess with new riders, I.e, "Oh my god! Theres no more track!"
It's Disney World people, not Final Destination.
this is the best ride ever
That was some nice editing!
I went on this ride
Sharp / love the channel and you continue to get better and better. thanks for the virtual tour of some of my favorite rides from the past and many I would have never seen.
Yea it's so much fun I went on this ride when I was 5 years it's not scary at all it's so much fun you'll love it I was scared of roller coasters when I was five and I was also scared of the drops but then my dad made me go on it and I liked it so I think you should go on it because it's a really good ride and I give it 10 stars
Such a great ride, I remember going on this ride and this video brings back so many memories.
This is on of my favorite rides!!!! Highly recommend
Goodness thats a nice camera!
I love what you see when you walk through the line! It all fascinates me! I still enjoy it everytime I run through the line to hop on the ride for a 40th time haha 😂
riding this at night changes everything omfg
Awesome ride! I have ridden that SO many times, and I still love it ;)
Interesting fact: When you get to the part with the bent up track, lots of people have flinged there elastics at one of the sides.
I've seen that when I have gone on that XD
Went on it last week and I counted at least 30 of them. Lol
My mom loves riding it and love watching her go down
favorite part going backwards
According to a making of documentary, the sections of track on either end of the backwards part completely flip over to switch, and it takes an entire six seconds.
2:26 A track switch mechanism similar to the one Big Thunder Mountain uses to allow for two load platforms, and takes maybe a second and a half to switch.
huh....people walk to fast in disney...its amazing that they see anything at all!! lol. this is on our list for rides this november. hope I don't die on it...I'm not really sure I want to die on an expedition!
Lexi Feldmann, the thing is, I'm a fast walker, and I think that everyone walks too slowly, and it's really annoying when you're stuck behind a slow walker(anywhere in the world). I still see Disney in all it's spectacular detail while walking quickly, but by walking quickly, I get more time to go on all of the rides...
Lexi Feldmann the video was sped up
I loved this ride so much!
One of my favorite Disney E ticket memories [going back to 1963] was me and my baby sister's first time on EE in 2014. I had followed all the hype so I knew the little secret in the layout. Her reaction was priceless and heartwarming!! So sad the giant Yeti animatronic at the end was fully functional that first season! I never got to see it do it's REAL Grabber movement.
Finally, you show the ride itself rather than what comes before it. I am not interested in anything but the ride.
that was wow just wow.

Best channel for theme parks ever
I always loved looking behind during the 4:34 scene so I could see the track turn over!
I waited a hour and a half for this ride it was worth it 😝
Our go to ride at Disney! Kind of glad Pandora opened, it made the wait times on Everest not as crazy! Both me and my sister got on it a total of three times in one day!
Pandora was amazing but thankfully we got fast passes. Not sure if I would have been completely happy waiting three hours for that, but it was still an incredible experience. But honestly my favorite part of it is that it lessens the crowds at the park, especially if you go early morning!
Did this for the first time on Christmas day, back in December. I don't think I could go twice in a row, but I'm definitely doing it again next time. :D
I don't know why but when I went on the wall there were tons of scrunchys. Like at the top, when the track is broken
Fidz Da Panda yea that’s common
I got on the ride like 2 weeks ago and It was AMAZING it was also really funny when my dad saw the tracks ended and my brother whiplashed his neck it was one of the best roller coasters. (um sorry if I have wrong grammar)
Well, i know what in going on when i get to disney world. Thanks mr shap.
Such a fun ride
My favorite ride at Disneyworld 😀
I love this ride.
that ride is awesome
I went this summer in July 1-3 to Walt Disney world that looks so much fun to bad I didn't get to ride it
It’s so much better at night
One of the best things I have ever done IT WAS SO FUN
Omg this is the best ride ever
I am sooo excited, im going to disney in 9 dayysss!!!
LOL that one screaming like looloolooloolooloolool!! It's an awesome ride ignoring the fact that I rode it when I was 8 and the entire ride I stuck my head between my legs in fear LOL
Hey guys, the ride starts at 2:26.
it was so nice to go that ride
Never rode this. But I felt like I just did. Awesome.
This and rock n roller coaster are my dad's favorite rides. Mine is space mountain preferably because of nostalgia.
I love this ride, and FYI if you are going on this ride buy fast passes or else you will be waiting 5 hours. I didn't wait hat long though because I had a fast pass. But the line was actually 5 hours long and they had a sign saying that
Its not that long ever since Pandora or you can just go at night also I think its better at night its dark you feel the breeze
this ride is fun
That big climb i remembering yelling I LOVE OREOS !! Over and over again to calm myself
when I was Disney a couple weeks ago I went on this ride and I loved it ! I loved it so much I went on it 6 times ! But I did get pretty dizzy 😂
I remember going on this with my mom and my sisters when I was 6 when we went to Disney World in summer 2013 and I was so scared of it
I love Vekoma
Love it!
I'm going to Disney the 7th. Can't wait. :)
Going near the end of August! :D
4:39 dad this is awesome
Disneyland Native here. Everybody takes this ride as an upgrade over the Matterhorn when really I don’t see must difference. Despite the obvious larger train and reverse functioning there really isn’t too much.
One time when I was at Disney I stepped on the wall piece of a phone charger and so I needed a wheel chair. I don’t like roller coasters but I ended up waiting in like for this ride bc my brother and sister wanted to go in the handicapped lane bc we didn’t have fast passses
I rode this twice in a row with both waits being under an hour. How?
I was scared of is ride but I LOVE it
On january 2018 I will be going to disney world's animal kingdom for the first time with my school I can't wait to ride all those cool rides there in i think i will get scared
Chadly-TV 260 youll be ok
I love this ride xD
This ride is very intense
FL Gators95 not intense enough
When you go backwards dose it have a drop ? And how many drops are on this ride ?
Well, the first drops aren't that bad. When you go backwards, you basically just turn a really long corner that goes up and down. There is no way to tell where you are, because you cannot see any more than this footage shows. When you come out, there is that 80ft drop, but it doesn't feel that high because it goes around a corner. The other drops will not feel bad after going down the first one. Just be careful, because it does go inside a lot, and it does mess with your mind in the darkness.
Yeah there’s only two drops but you can really only feel one
Ok so, I need to determine if this ride is too scary to go on can you help me?
Ok, so I am 12 years old ( almost 13 ) and the only thing i hate about roller coasters are big drops. In comparison to some Six Flags FT rides i've been on i dont know where this stands. Is it like The Iron Rattler or The Boomerang? If you dont know those rides, please rate on a scale of 1 - 10 one being mild and fun and ten being scary- screaming ride. If you respond thank you. Im planning a trip to disney world and i want to know what i'm doing. Thanks Again. :-)
BuMdEbUm290 This is way more tame than Iron Rattler. If you're here at Animal Kingdom you should definitely ride it!
I am scared to ride that cause of the part when
The the track falls apart
+Katina Pilkington don't worry, you just go backwards and it's really fun actually :)
I went on when I was 5 or 6 a little drop or two came out of my eyes but it was really fun especially the backwards part and the drop
Its really not that bad....It helped to close my eyes on it
This ride is the fcxn best
The theming on this ride is mind-blowing. Not a big fan of the actual ride though. I really dislike going backwards.
I cried when I was 7 on this ride loll
Omg same😂
Me too
I Like it a little bit
I have a question;
So I'm not really a rollercoaster person, the "Biggest one" I've done would probably be American thunder or Screaming Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis. I'm not really a big fan of the really steep or loopy ones, because I get motion sick easily, but it was hard to tell with this one. Is this an OK one for me to go on, or would it be too much?
HOLY CRAP IM IN THIS VIDEO!
I'm going to animal kingdom next spring break
I screamed my guts out on the ride (fyi i hate roller coasters) and i was like 6yrs old 1st time at disney
That yeti reminds me of the one from Rudolph
lol that 3:58 part that kid was like dad this awesome and then AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
This was my first rollar coaster ever
I don't know why but watching videos of roller coasters makes me sick but actually being on them doesn't haha
Is there really a loop on this ride because it looks like you go upside down at one point?
Nope it's just that when it goes backwards the ride is kinda slanted and you're going up and down and it makes you feel like you're going upside down
artist1011000 no you don't go upside down. I went on this ride and it is my absolute favorite. Not to fast, not slow. Amazing ride!
Cooooool
i am going to disney tomrrow
My brother (who is 6) went on it this Christmas and passed out
I was 😓 nervous when the roller coaster went backwards 😬
I remember when i went on this ride a week ago I started crying at the top cause i was so nervous
I've gone on plenty of roller coasters and let me tell you everest is not bad at all. Definitely one of the smoother roller coasters I've ridden (Apollo's Chariot is the smoothest). The "drop" isn't steep at all and the most jarring part of the ride is the backwards sequence and even then it barely knocks you around. I think you'll be ok if you rode everest.
What you think about SFOT. I am sorry to say it a safe park...
The only thing better then this ride is it’s history
