That there is quality time with the boy. Enjoy every minute, they grow so fast. Great little man learning with Dad. Perfect
That’s why so many dads have a lot regrets later on....they missed so much and never realized how quickly kids grow up. Even infants, babies and toddlers progress at lightning speed sometimes; they are literally different in just a months time. You blink and you miss it- that’s about how it is.
i was getting ready to say the same thing those machines were like dinosaurs when i was kid
It's not a tonka if it's made out of plastic! A REAL Tonka is all metal! LOL!
The best words on the planet; “Look Daddy”. Precious!
Absolutely
This is what children need instead of video games, love how Mom put the Christmas gift back on Dad. Teach the boy how to say yes sir and yes mam to his elders.
Just watching Gunner was exhausting. I couldn't keep up with that energy level at all.
Gunner's enthusiasm made me grin!
Thanks for sharing Daddy son time. He acted as a curious boy and you talked to him as a man. I have many fond memories of times where my bazillion questions were answered by my dad. This was a neat experience and I appreciate you sharing such a personal family experience with us.
What a lovely boy, interested in everything and very articulate, really enjoyed listening to him .Keith England 🇬🇧
I love the "just sneek it in" I've spent most of my life trying to do that. He's learning fast.
Quality time spent with your son. He will never forget that.
Nice to take your Son to these auctions, just to see how much interest he has on the equipment, he’s learning a lot with you on these trips, plus it’s fun time for both of you, a Father and Son trip
Great to be able to spend quality time with family.
Thanks for sharing.
great video spending quality time with your son. He will never forget this time you spent with him.
I bet he asked a million questions and every one of them was a learning experience. Bravo dad for your patience and taking the time to listen and answer every one. Days like this are parent and child gold, they can’t be bought or sold. He will remember this day for many years to come. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like great Father son day. He will remember that for a long time.
Keep up the great videos.
This is a day Gunner will not forget. He's a fun loving kid that'll grow into a hard working man. Have a blessed and safe weekend.
You're a mighty good dad, & you & mom are doing a great job raising that little man. You guys made some lifelong memories there......
Thanks
Great times with Gunner ... making great memories with him. Cherish these days Mike they grow up so fast. Have fun, enjoy, and above all stay safe.
"Just sneak it in!" Like Father like son, lol
Thanks for sharing!
You are absolutely correct,
Making memories you both are blessed these times only come once.
Thanks for sharing that day with us
Central California Watching
Anytime you can spend with your children is priceless because they grow up before you realize it Great video
Thanks
Nothing like father/son time, good memories made right there. Thanks for sharing buddy 👍
Man that little guy is having a blast! I think I’d be the same way love checking out equipment.
Making memories is what its all about thanks for taking us along
Thanks for watching
Good video again my friend he was in joying it walking around looking at equipment and get in out He was loving it good day my friend y’all be safe
A day with dad that Gunner will remember for along time. It was great to see how you explained things on his level. We've had 4 Komatsu loaders , wa 470, 2-450s, and a 380. They are very dependable, other than maintenance never had a major breakdown. But for a smaller operation I like those cat It's versatile, machine good video thanks mike
Every time I saw Gunner climb on a piece of equipment I was thinking - 'that's one giant step for a (young) man; one small step for mankind". Glad you had the opportunity to have a great day with your son - even if Santa Claus isn't going to bring him that excavator. Thanks so much for posting this.
Thanks for watching
Cherish these memories, they grow up so darn fast. Gunner will be in the seat of the 120 before you know it!
Looks like a good dad and son day just Bond and have fun
So of my best memories with my dad we’re walking around at action lots before a sale . Great video love to see this
That was fun watching Gunner. Great Father / Son memories!
Great tour and Gunnar made it TRIPLE great!!!!
You are a good father to Gunner, Three Cheers to you.
Thanks
On Tonka's: poor kid didn't know what they are. I'm 60 and grew up with them. Steel and rubber little finger pinchers and I spent God only knows how many hours moving dirt and running over my Lincoln Log buildings or traversing assorted bridges I made out of them.TLB's,dump trucks, dozers, graders, and so many others. Back in the day I was little enough to ride on the big Tonka dump truck down hills hell bent for leather lol.Give me a BB gun, some Tonka's and my "army men" and my summer days were full.Come 4th of July and the black cat fire crackers and I could do some "blasting" for excavating in the sand box too."Safety Sally" wasn't around back then and kids could be kids.
Sounds like a totally different childhood that what the kids these days often get.
Doncha long for a return of those simpler times... today, Tonka toys would have to have batteries, safety warning labels and the plastic would melt in the sun... and their dads wouldn’t know how to fix them if they broke!
We must have went to different schools together
I'm 40 years old and I felt old when Gunner said what's a Tonka. Lol
@@sassafrasvalley1939 Like my dad always tells me, "Those days are gone". It's sad. Things seemed less complicated before. These days every little thing is analyzed like crazy.
Can't beat spending 'Man Time' with your boy, it's times like this that stick in your memories for years to come 👍
Gunner is a real trip man! Love his enthusiasm!!!!
Was thinkin the same thing, so many questions and much to say. Haha😂👍
Agreed. Time with your son is priceless. Dad and son time looking at heavy equipment. That is memory making. Great job on your part dad.
Great Job Gunner climbing in & out, up & down. Yes, what were they thinking? Good questions & Dad answers.
Thanks

Hahaha the energy your boy has. Lol i bet he was tuckered right out by the time you two got home. 😂👍

It won't be long before this young man will be running jobs for his Dad. What a great way to spend your day.
All kids should get this opportunity.
That brings back memories of similar trips with my son, (and similar questions too.) Thanks for sharing.
It’s all about the kids and teaching them !!! Love that you shared this one!!!
The old L8000 Ford that you were looking at with the wood on the sides of the bed. That is an old trucker trick to haul black top for paving and keep the heat in. Thanks for the video on my birthday DP!
Happy birthday

Looks like you both had some fun...
Teach them young love it.
Gunner looks so cute in that outfit. I don't know how old he is, but he has quite an extensive vocabulary for a young little boy. Macy is such a great sister. You guys must be so proud. He had such a good time with his Dad. Thanks for the video.
Thanks and thanks for watching
I love it when the kids get involved and you can give them an education and it also helps steer them into an awesome trade to job guys 👍
Your right about the grapple bucket my neighbour had one on a 65 hp skid steer and it was getting wrecked and he was gentle with it.
Priceless!
Very nice video, great to see you spending time with Gunner climbing around on equipment. Always fun for kids to do. Reminded me of A rock quarry near me that used to have digger and dumper day in the fall when they would shutdown and let the public in to see all the equipment with a few demonstrations. They would have a section where you could look for fossils and would do a few demonstrations of blowing up a rock bank. Had old school buses that were used for crew transport that they ran around on a loop so you could ride or walk down into the open pit areas. Was left wondering towards the end I thought I saw something parked behind the excavator that looked a little familiar, ??
Holy crap that little guy sure does love to talk...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
