  • MECHADOCK EF9 Civic Circuit Racer in OSAKA JAPAN! | 赤丸メカドック | JDM Honda B18C | NO GOOD RACING
Our Osaka adventure continues as we visit AKAMARU MECHA-DOCK!!
MECHA-DOCK is a local family-owned auto shop that specializes in building full race and heavily tuned Hondas, as well as all types of Automotive repair.
This husband & wife duo has been in the game for something around 15-16 years, working together 7 days a week to take care of customer cars around the neighborhood.
Working everyday however doesn’t stop them from enjoying some seriously modified CIVIC racing machines! The shop’s famous blue EF9 hatchback circuit car is something that can only be fully appreciated up close, but hopefully you guys will enjoy seeing this amazing build from the comfort of your own home🔥
Thanks again for allowing us to visit, MECHA-DOCK! We wish you nothing but the best & we hope to see you again soon, on any side of the Pacific Ocean🇯🇵🌊🇺🇸
    お疲れ様でした、毎度ありがとうございます💙💎

Hose clamps on exhuast hangers trick is for gaining ground clearance, and stopping from shaking.

That's an oem cooler but they cut the pipes off where it's supposed to connect to the main metal pipe as it doesn't do a good job of cooling- its more of an oil heater than anything else.

WOE!!! We need to start a discussion @4:11 Why is the front of the swingarm cut off??? This is nothing I have ever seen before. Please explain why and how??

Good eye! I don’t know for sure but my guess would be that since it is using a spherical trailing arm bushing, they don’t need the toe adjustment. Maybe helps reduce unsprung mass too, but yeah that’s my guess!

@@boomboomtiskI would have to agree. That blue EF is a very popular hatch with a ton of history

That repair on the subframe looks like they were getting to the nut that’s welded on the back side common issue brakes off

Our EG has the same crack in the subframe too, the shop owner said it’s a common issue when these cars are driven hard

lmfao you're falling way behind on the honda scene.. all those stuff exist in the states too... some stuff can get it from japan... Osaka hondas are some type of special craftsmenship.

Didn’t say it didn’t exist in the states, actually these days it seems that a lot of influence goes back and forth from both sides of the Pacific. However you wanna see it, Osaka is definitely a place to consider visiting if you are into Hondas
