Making a HUGE Harry Potter Sugar Sculpture - Isomalt Blown Sugar Showpiece

A look behind the scenes as I create this almost 2 foot tall candy showpiece out of Simi Isomalt, based on the iconic Golden Snitch from the Harry Potter series, using all edible materials! DETAILS:

Very cool! So - you used the metallic powder for the isomalt but it looks like you also sprayed gold paint on top? Could you also just do one or the other?

Thanks! I actually airbrushed brown over the edges of the gold pieces to add shading, but you can definitely airbrush or hand paint gold over the isomalt too!
