I was impressed with this mower. For us "older folks" a battery powered mower is so much easier to start and from my view point, it looks like it did a good job. 👍

I've been watching Blades of Grass for a long time & he's pretty much changed all his equipment to battery power. I love the look & they're so much quieter - saves you a little bit of money on gas these days as well. Looks great & I'm looking forward to seeing more of this type of content.

Thanks to Milwaukee for contributing to your efforts. I really liked the mower. And for someone who does not like to mess with gas (not now that it is over $4.00 a gallon), battery is the way to go!!! Thanks for sharing.
5.29 a gallon here in northern Illinois but in the case of a lawn mower (maintained), gas is still much better. I add Berryman's B-12 with the gas to make sure the carburetor stays perfect. I have a 2013 Craftsman with a Honda 160 OHV, (oil) Royal Purple 30 weight. I'm sure I will have to change the self propelled belt sometime but she works like a charm and never been indoors. Look at the price of batteries and you will pay for a new lawn mower in a couple of years just for the batteries. I do have a number of Ego products where the battery does make sense but I will not buy one of the lawn mower versions. Just some thoughts.

I bought a "EGO" Battery Operated mower. I own 1 1/2 acers and it used 4 batteries on 2 ft of grass that was over grown.
I use stihl weed Wacker and Poland pro mower I wish they would spancer me
Is it the type that uses two 20v batteries? What is the amp hour rating on the batteries? I'm thinking of buying a Milwaukee trimmer, maybe a mower too.
That lil gadget actually works pretty good. I’d still take a gasoline operated mower. You did a good job though. You mowed enough that you could give your honest opinion on the mower. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeah gas powered will definitely last longer. Until they can get batteries to last longer gas is going to be the better option.

I really think the battery operated stuff is getting a lot better. Battery life will still be a problem for large properties.

The mower seemed to perform well. I'm not surprised you had it on the high setting. I've seen other channels using battery powered mowers, and they frequently get bogged down and shut themselves off. Not my idea of a good time. I suppose if you are "that guy" who mowes his lawn exactly once weekly and on the same day every week, rain or shine, this is the mower for you. I think I'll stick with my gas powered mower.
Please correct me if I'm wrong: The video is sped up and the audio is cut in to coincide?? How slowly did you actually have to go so that it worked?
Yes I do speed it up 2x the speed. I was walking at a normal walking pace but there was times I would have to go back over the same spot to get all the grass cut.

Sidewalk is sloped toward the house, poor drainage choice.
