I bought my 2013 odyssey new and have had absolutely no problems with it.
We’ve removed the second seat and hauled tons of stuff with it, including moving the contents of two homes! Never needed to rent u-haul.
The 7 seat capacity was invaluable when driving vacationing visitors around
We are hooked on Honda and will probably get a 23 or 24 Odyssey this fall; just not this expensive model.
The only drawback is the expense in changing the timing belt; that mandatory maintenance was over $2,000. Too bad Honda doesn’t use a timing chain.

I've had 2 BMW 320s, 12 Porsche 911s, 2 Porsche 914, 4 Mercedes Benz of different models, 6 Subarus, and one 1950 Ford ( with a suicide Steering Wheel Knob) which was a replica of Robert Mitchum's "Thunder Road" car, while in High School, as well as several other vehicles. Now at 74 years old, I needed a new car and believe it or not my wife and I just bought 2024 Odyssey Elite a week ago. It's interesting ,that I have transitioned from the Suicide Steering Wheel Knob to a Heated Steering Wheel, I guess I've come full circle. I can honestly say that this is one of the classiest vehicles I have had. Along with all the standard factory options, the Elite is equipped with, we also purchased several other Honda accessories, that make it even more unique. IMHO, if I was going to redesign the Odyssey, I would add a 4 cylinder Turbo engine with an AWD/ Hybrid option.

Nice van I see nothing has changed body wise as compared to the 2023. I have a 2o23 EX-L and I love it.

Nice review. We own a 2018 Touring. Same color. Absolutely love it. I actually prefer the front end of the 2018 over these newer ones. They seem to rounded. Reminds me of the 2007 Civic Hybrid I had. Still, a nice van. The V6 with the 10 speed is crazy quick for a van. Not to mention the noise it makes on a WOT run. 😂

Wow. Thanks you for the comprehensive review.
I’m glad the 2024 is still gas and has the reliability and power of a v6 rather than turbo 4 or a hybrid. I don’t want a hybrid which imho just has more major things that can majorly break. I drive my vehicles til they end, so they need to go 300,000 miles or more. My last odyssey met this challenge.
I’ll buy a new 2024 Odyssey when the car market becomes less of a sellers market, which I think will be within next 6 months.
Thanks again for the provided review.

My 2010 Odyssey has 260,000 miles and I’m in the market for a new one. I just wish the redesign was more significant for 2024, yet on the other hand, it’s generally not a good idea to buy the first model year of a complete redesign.

Great car though I was hoping for a bigger update this year. They haven't changed the car much since 2018 and I'd love to get a 360 camera in something this large as well as things like a heads up display and the newer Honda infotainment system found in much cheaper Hondas like the Civic. I also really want a hybrid. Honda does great hybrid systems.

Thank you for reviewing the top version of maybe the last year of a V6 powered Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey is not sold here in Europe. However, I would consider bying one like this if I lived in the United States or Canada.

My first Odyssey was a 2003... which I drove for 10 years before buying a 2013 Odyssey. Yesterday, at just over 10 years of ownership, I put a deposit down on yet another - the 2024 Odyssey Elite. At 70, the kids are off and on their own... but the versatility and reliability of this car is simply unmatched by anything else I've yet to find. And I've never hesitated when considering a long road trip.

It’s a great van, but I want hybrid and a 360 camera (and preferably stow&go 2nd row seats). If my MDX will hold out another year, I’ll wait to see what the 2025 Odyssey brings.

Sorry. This van is laughable. It looks like it was designed in 2010. Look at that sad infotainment center? Is that a 10"? Wow. And that fold down screen in the back. Is that a DVD player? Honda should be embarrassed. Kia is killing them with their their design and their tech. And don't even talk about the Chinese and Nio/Xpeng/BYD. They are in the year 2030 while Honda is still in the year 2010.
