How to Crochet a baby dress/frock for (1 year baby)

Hi everyone, in this video tutorial i will be showing you how to crochet a baby dress/frock for size 1 to 2 year baby girl. For this dress i am using a 5mm size steel crochet hook and 3ply crystal yarn. Basic crochet stitches like single crochet doulbe crochet and treble/triple crochet are used in this dress. Very nice dress , thanks for sharing it !!! I made it in old rose and white color , it came out beautiful. One question does the bottom little bow go all around the dress or only in the front , the video show 10 only

Very beautiful dress, but I think the base chains should 116 because at 120 chains I had 4 left before joining on your diagram if you count the number of stitches it comes to 116. Please let me know if I did something wrong. Thank you.🌼

Hi. I would like to make this but am confused by hook size and yarn ply. Your hook has a 5 on it but doesn’t appear to have ‘mm’ on it. For steel hooks a No. 5 hook is 1.9mm (if its a US hook) or a 1.4mm hook (if it is a UK hook). If the steel hook has a metric measurement on it, it would normally have a decimal number and have mm written on it. Your hook looks much smaller than a standard 5mm and your chain stitches look very tiny. Appreciate if you would clarify.
Also, can you confirm you are using 3 ply light fingering yarn and not #3 dK weight yarn?
