  • Today we will build our own DIY Grow Light. We need to get our seedlings some really good lights so in this episode I will build a Grow Light that contains the full spectrum.
    I have tried using these LEDs but the 100 watt ones last year with great results but this one will spread the light even better.
    I hope this diy grow light system will work just as well or even better.

    Thank-you for the cool tips on how to make your own grow lights. I cheat and use the warm sun in southwest Florida to my advantage in the winter months. So now I have a jump start on vegetable production for this season. My tomatoes already have little ones setting on and so do my peppers, luckily we do not expect frost here and they are doing well. I chose this time to do container gardening only, to keep the fire ants at bay. Hope my experiment works.......Keep warm

    Fantastic Idea. The SMD LED has changed the off grid world. Great job and steady hands my friend. May the Lord Bless you and your Homestead in Jesus name.

      I will try to find those Leds and put them in a comment. Right now I'm heading toward a place without internet connection. Have an amazing week.

    Is the light more white in reality? All my growing lights have really white light. Makes a huge difference to use light when cultivating.

    Don't the connections need to have some kind of protection against people touchig them and against moisture?

      I will use clear acrylic plastic to protecting it. This is the first video in a series so stay tuned for the rest of them. Have an amazing Sunday Annie!

    where do i get that tape and those leds

    • @offgridsweden
      @offgridsweden  Před 5 lety +1

      The tape is ordinary electric tape. You can get it at any hardwarestore. The leds was bought on ebay several years ago. Search for grow led modules and scroll down a bit and you will get them in 10 to 100 watt. Have an amazing week!
